Why don't you want to extend equality to everyone? :(
Nah, you don't get to lecture me or anyone else on how we are supposedly responsible for inequality or that we are racist. Keep living in your absurdly manufactured reality where you can paint all republicans with such a broad brush. This is exactly the outcome you all deserve for mislabeling and generalizing so many people.

The fact that she lost a ton of ground in Black and Latino votes says a lot. You had minorities switching from Dem to Rep. I don't know that you can peg those votes she lost on people being racist. The deciding factor in the end though will be the uneducated vote which validates what you said. It's sad.
How anyone can be so self-destructive I don't know, maybe they're trying to be one of the good ones. Maybe they legitimately despise their race, whatever, congratulations guys.

Don't know him personally so no. All I know his he represents us Americans who don't want 4 more years of Obama. Like I pay for birth control with my healthcare. I'm a man. I don't need to be paying for this shit and Trump will fix this and rid corruption in US government. He is the President we need at this time.

Look at it this way: when you help pay for birth control, you reduce the likelihood that you'll reproduce and that's obviously a good thing.

I will remember those making fun of UK voters...

This forum has been extremely intolerant of Trump supporters, and refuse to listen to listen and read, and instead label "racist". That doesn't work.

Listen and read what? Their bullshit dogwhistle nonsense about enabling a culture that makes minorities fearful for their wellbeing?

Fuck that.

You guys realize Trump even as president cannot just make ridiculous decisions right? Really blows my mind reading some of the things you guys say. There are laws, congress is in place to vote his ass right out of he does anything crazy. The president doesn't have THAT much power, he still has to get everything passed.

Just can't wait for the Trump supporters here and elsewhere to be his little spin team when he or his minions enact policies that target minorities or revoke LGBT rights.

"Nooo, he didn't mean THAT!"

Oh it'll be quite easy, seeing as the entire Capitol building is controlled by Republicans.

I'm on the exact same shit that the majority of Americans are on that don't like where America is going. If that's a tough pill to swallow you should probably think about leaving America. Of course if you even live here and understand the problems us American people have with our government.

You are not making a coherent or well reasoned argument.

You are literally typing shit at this moment.

You voted trump, argue it properly.

You voted for a racist, bigotted, sexist, molesting fool.

I wish the best for you all. It might get really bad, but it will get better.

Four years is only ~5% of a lifetime. Anything Trump can tear down, another president can build back up.

Except that the Supreme Court will be shaped by Trump for the next 10 to 15 years. Think of this, people have been trying of overturn Rowe vs Wade for nearly 40 years. That could be us trying to overturn something that we don't like for the rest of our lives. This shit isn't trivial.

I genuinely can't believe it. This was the easiest choice in American election history. I've never been more disappointed with the American population

Sieg Heil, chancellor Donald Trump I guess.

Oh, good. They've already been emboldened.

This is privilege at its finest. Fuck me if it means you get yours right?

Why are your issues more important than my half black, half latino, disabled nephew? Why more important than me?

LGBT, Womans right, Black Americans, Muslim Americans, Religious freedom god fucking knows how much else?

These are less important. By voting Trump you show an incredibly disgusting display of privilege. You are not more important nor more special than me. You are equal to me. So stop ignoring my rights. Stop ignoring the rights of AMERICAN citizens.

If there's going to be a post-mortem here on GAF in the wake of a likely Trump victory then I hope there's more tolerance of alternate-dissenting views on this site. I despised Trump but I respected the right of anyone to vote for him. Many Trump supporters on here were practically driven off the forum, which I thought wasn't right or fair. Similarly Bernie supporters tended to be shouted down during the primaries.

As long as a poster is respectful and not writing inflammatory comments (sexism, racism, the usual altie shit) then they shouldn't be banned for their posts.

Tolerance of views that are not your own is something a lot of people on this forum need to learn.

I am a Democrat and I voted for Clinton. I understand where non-racist Trump voters are coming from. From this thread alone the majority of far left Democrat posts don't get it. RACIST RACIST RACIST is all they spout.

Glenn Beck an Brokaw nailed it earlier tonight. A huge portion of America hates Trump but they still voted for him because they hate the current government. It had nothing to do with racism, it was anti-establishment. They think we are going in the wrong direction but I get what they don't like. Trump isn't the answer but neither was Hillary so they voted for him.
