is this green screen setup (the software portion) available to everyone?
I imagine it would be more present on YouTube VR vids if it was... mixed reality does seem to be the next big thing for VR streams.
Very cool way to show it off.

this is how you demo VR.

They should have had him try one of those horror and/or rollercoaster games since those seem to get pretty intense reactions.
A lot of games have a mixed reality mode, so it's pretty much down to people getting a greenscreen and setting up the capture software.
Honestly it's a bit depressing that the most interesting demo they had for Conan was Job Simulator. VR developers (especially on PC) need to up their game!
No means no. Good call, I missed it.That "nein" joke . . . could it be considered a rape joke? 😮
He drew the same mug on his improvised Sm4sh cover.I was mostly commenting on Conan's ability to draw a classic Archie styled cartoon character of himself. But yeah the actual program does look really nice too. That would be the type of thing to appeal to me.
Yeah, I missed this upon watching it.That "nein" joke . . . could it be considered a rape joke? 😮

Conan needs to regularly do gaming content. Well they do Monday Melee but not with Conan usually.
Edit: Thanks Joeku. For the world.

Probably a miscommunication joke, though I thought about that too. She was already rating him on things in English depending on if she likes it, and didn't say the English no instead of German. A bit on the edge but I don't know.

._. This is going to be a white knight thread isn't it.
Stop being so offended.
Giantbomb needs to get some of that green screen technology. Very cool way to show off VR
The purpose of this segment must have flown over your head.Honestly it's a bit depressing that the most interesting demo they had for Conan was Job Simulator. VR developers (especially on PC) need to up their game!
I'm kind of surprised some people here are seeing this sort of mixed reality footage for the first time. I sort of assumed that anybody on GAF with the slightest interest in VR would have seen some of this by now. Demonstrations like this have been around since before the Vive launched.
Or me, Nintendo only.Probably people who clicked on this thread because they were interested in Conan rather than VR. Like me. It's me, I'm the guy who's never seen mixed reality footage before.
It was p cool.
You look terrible...you should be back in the iron lung
Great video. All VR should be shown off this way
One of the many things I miss from the NBC days is the old Conan logo. Much better than the TBS one

This type of mixed reality is definitely new to me (i.e. the type that has intelligent occlusion of the live video feed). I want more! GiantBomb, you know what to do!
That's not really surprising.Pretty cool to see how fast Conan gets the hang of it. Whenever he's handed a controller he's a total mess.
