Well, apparently it ended up that he was a fraud.
Yeah he easily could be covering the bases in terms of making sure nothing leaks about it. Either way I'd be super excited to see the next iteration of the series, the idea is very exciting.
Sounds about right, Facebook is all about post-truths and bias-confirmations.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi said there were no plans for a new Sengoku Basara game a month before Sanada Yukimura-den was announced. Sony said there was no plans for a deal with Marvel weeks before Spider-Man: Homecoming was announced. Square Enix folks said similar things about FF7R when we now know production had already begun. Producers, execs and PR reps say a lot of things that aren't true.

Verendus probably had some legit knowledge to some extent (he called a few things that seemed outlandish), but he mixed in plenty of fake info and then he got busted for writing a review of FFXV without having actually played the game. This was just last week.
Apparently the mods had raised some red flags surrounding him but that scandal was the last straw basically.
Yeah, in the FFXV thread, Falk pretty much laid everything out. Got busted for his fake FFXV review. Mods had some concerns about his prior history in conjunction with that. Permabanned.

His detailed FFXV impressions were fake and he was perma banned due to being on mods radar from his numerous trollings in the past.
Some people think that since he lied (which was likely another one of his trolls) about XV and is now banned, then he had to be a fraud. Even though the guy was right about a lot of stuff. (WoFF, RE: Umbrella Corps, FFVII:R, FF XV, etc)

It's hard to explains whole situation. Veredus made a impression about Final Fantasy 15 and how he had the game early so he made a long impression. Few days later, a reliable gaffer that had a review copy came in and told the posters that Veredus' impression actually conflicted what he experienced in the game so it didt really match up. That's when people realized that he was a fraud since some of his rumors didn't came true. Basically people just figured out that he was doing for the attentions. Moderators kinda called him out and he never answered so he got permabanned at the end.

But in the case of MvC4, they may want to push it as an eSport like SFV (if MvC4 is indeed happening), so they may be more careful about stuff like flipping the bird.

I can see it being more successful then strwet fighter v honestly if they just advertise it as much as the Netflix shows. Put banners everywhere and give it a good budget for commercials.
