Man, I'm still invested in the core Walking Dead narrative (Rick and crew), but how many times does this story need to be told? Nothing really seems to add to the story's universe or bring anything new to the table. It's just "hey, now look at *these* people try to deal with a zombie apocalypse! Watch how their humanity falls apart along the way! It's about the bonds between people!" There is just never a genuinely new paradigm being introduced.
