- Assists are back
- MCU Film actors will be involved to an unknown extent
- A Monster Hunter dragon will grace the cast
- Ant-Man, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Dr. Strange
- A Capcom veteran that was in MvC3 will return

I really don't know how I feel about gems coming back, it feels like an unnecessary variable, but I'm intrigued by the other things they've got to offer.

this ultimately isn't a deal breaker but im a bit assmad at them dropping the stylized comic aesthetic. having a cartoony look helps sell the extreme pace and more zanier characters, and more importantly it stands out among a sea of games that all have a similar look and feel

Edit: I caught the very end. In response to a fan question of roster size, one of them said it will be huge.

One of those Marvel guys said he used to work at Capcom, which is cool. Sounds like they had a lot of appreciation for the series.

If this really is a game developed by a US branch of Capcom then I actually have kind of high hopes for the roster and mechanics. I feel like Capcom Japan might have a little too much tunnel vision when it comes to who they'd choose to include on their side, and I imagine most of the people who work for Capcom in the US are highly in tune with their fans and what they expect.

Plus wouldn't that lend credence to Combofiend being involved in designing the game? Let's go Spenc

It's good to see that even since MvC3 the Marvel team still absolutely love the series. A lot of talk about heritage and stuff in the PR too.

I'm not familiar with Mike Evans, but it gives me confidence that he's a fan.
