Is Fox going to bail on Pitch?

I had no idea it was only a 10 episode first season, although they advertised the finale as a "season finale".

i took the title to mean HBO's Girls was cancelled

Final season was announced in 2015, this upcoming season is its last

I like when shows announce the end a few years in advance. Considering all the shows that end early, it's just really nice to see some that have a plan that is clearly coming to its natural conclusion

I'm definitely a fan of this. Black Sails and The Americans announced their ends and as much as I enjoyed those shows, it was nice to know the creators had a plan.

Still pissed about Penny Dreadful and its surprise series finale.

Really those shows are coming to end? When? What is going to be the top show once The Americans end (not Game of Thrones).

Black Sails' final season starts in 2017, The Americans ends in 2018. There have been a bunch of really promising shows this year. I think my favorite new show of 2016 is Quarry.

Lucifer... Mr. Robot... Westworld... The Expanse... Black Mirror... Stranger Things... Veep...
I've been meaning to check out Mr. Robot & Veep, and I didn't really care for Black Mirror the one episode I watched of it. Stranger Things was good when I was watching it, but I think it was very overrated. Binge watching Westworld after the season ends.

Never heard of Quarry. And okay so another few years, so maybe The Americans can get a win as best Drama, but I doubt it.

not really sure if this is the thread to ask but i suffer from depression and i have not watched tv for a couple of years so i dont know any good tv shows does anyone know what shows i might like if i like comedy's and action.

A lot of my favorites are coming to an end. Don't go, Rectify, The Leftovers, and Halt and Catch Fire! I'm placing all my faith in Better Call Saul and Fargo, since both their seasons were great.

The laziest of thread titles. Im shaking my head at you stump.

What are some of the shows that you've enjoyed in the past?

For action: Strike Back, Banshee, Into the Badlands, Spartacus

For comedy: Arrested Development, Party Down, Fleabag, Catastrophe, Chewing Gum, BoJack Horseman, Broad City, Search Party, the first season of You're the Worst, the first four seasons of Veep and Archer, the first two-ish seasons of Modern Family and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Bob's Burgers, Baskets, Survivor's Remorse, Louie, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Portlandia, Atlanta.

The Super Mega 4 Show DC TV Superhero Hype Event was something of a mixed bag:

The Supergirl episode literally was just a regular episode of Supergirl with a 1 minute crossover scene tacked on at the very end (but it was rendered pointless when they showed to same entire scene in the Flash episode) and Arrow was a(n Arrow) fan service episode commemorating the 100th episode of the series, with the crossover stuff comprising only a tiny portion of it.

Flash and Legends of Tomorrow had the only *proper* crossover event episodes, and both were actually really quite fun despite the fact that the overall storyline of the crossover was a dramatically inert mess.

This was the first time they attempted anything on this scale before, so I'll give them a pass, but for next year I'd like to see them do an actual (and preferably, coherent) 4 episode crossover.

Jeopardy loves reminding me that Limitless will never get an s2, feels like there is a monthly Limitless question.
I was working for the past few weeks in the building where Shaw Media (owner of Global who aired Limitless in Canada) has their offices and they have a Limitless poster in one of the elevator lobbies. It hurt every time I would see it.

Okay, Vincent. We just need to get this photo for the key art.

So...what should I do?

Don't worry about it. It's Maaaaaaagic.

Got it.
