Trillion: God of Destruction is $8.99, down from $30.

More people should get this game, as long as they understand that it's not a JRPG; it's a time management/SRPG strategy game with heavy emphasis on VN-esque story and connecting with characters that you are training up to literally send to their death against the game's only boss who has a trillion life.

Maybe I'll do a longer write-up of it, but it was one of my biggest surprises when I played it and is an under-rated, under-bought and most definitely hidden gem.

Turns out it is region blocked in my country =(

The Monthly is kinda its own thing.

Yet sold on BST for less =p

Like in a cosmic sense? it'll be in a bundle some time before 2028. But if you mean is it likely to be much cheaper than $10 in the next few months? No, probably not. Maybe though. It's impossible to know for sure.

Yeah just within the next few months. Will probably pull the trigger and buy it. Heard great things about the game

Been wondering this for some time now as I'm in the same position as you with Dragon Age Inquisition - does it just upgrade your game and add the DLC to your account, or does it add a duplicate entry of the game to your account?

I now have two entries in my library, one for the digital deluxe edition (which I already owned) and one for the GOTY edition, BUT both of them say that the new DLC is available, and I can launch the game through either of the entries and the hours played is the same on both of them too.

Not sure if the saves automatically carry over because I think I wiped my saves when I did a Windows reinstall recently and none of them seemed to be in the Origin cloud. Not particularly sad about that, I wanted to do a full replay anyways and I downloaded a mod that makes the War Table missions complete instantly instead of minutes or hours.

I mean, what did you expect? Is Uncharted.
And that game got the best narrative award the same year Steins;Gate 0 and Umineko got released...

It's so strange that they imply that the antagonist doesn't think to start searching the adjacent graveyard (let alone underneath the cathedral) after numerous years. Shit, when I lose my TV remote, I'm looking under the toilet seat cover and outside behind the doghouse within the first 15 minutes.

Rusty Lake Hotel
- Imagine Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None or Clue: The Movie; the premise is that guests at a hotel are being killed one by one
- Also all the guests are animals dressed up in dapper outfits
- The gameplay is basically escape room style puzzles, which should be familiar to you if you played 999 or Zero Escape, or if you've done a live action escape room.
- Spoilers for first five minutes:
also you're the murderer

For $0.99 I recommend this definitely.

Runs on PC and Mac and should be notebook / bad hardware friendly.

is Rusty Lake: Roots worth it too?

Ok!

Pulling the trigger

- DOOM ( was having my friends account to play it, now own it for real! )
- The Witness. Just read good things about it Look like a relaxing game i can play with too much stress after playng Doom lol.

Got 5/79$ left in wallet Any recommandation for another relaxing game? Puzzle, point n click etc

As such to get the best deal possible best to wait until the last day and buy a game you want unless it shows up in a bundle.

FUCK. I thought "WAIT FOR THE DAILIES, YOU BASTARDS" was a thing of the past and dropped $100 or so just now for stuff I've been sitting out for. FUCK.

At least it's stuff I plan to play now though...

What kind of falcom game am I getting myself into if i pick up Xanadu Next Should I expect Ys ,The Legend of Heroes or something else entirely?

It's completely different from Ys and LoH. Try to imagine a cross between Diablo (minus the focus on loot drops) and metroidvania and that'll be closer to what you should be expecting. It's pretty great!

Been playing BADLAND: GOTY Edition this week, and there is one level where it keeps crashing before I can finish it. It's really pissing me off, because you can't skip a level in that game. And according to the game Steam discussions, it's a known issue.

None of the SFV characters or costumes are on sale outside of the Season 1 pack. You can't get them discounted individually. :/
That's what I get for spending fight money I guess.

TellTale Batman is 12 GB?! How?! HOW?!

That sucks. Permanent issues like that are just awful.

Slight aside: it is one of those FTL-inspired games, right? If you haven't yet, play FTL some time. It's wonderful.

Really considering Arma 3, Tales of Symphonia and God Eater 2, I have 55 bucks in my steam wallet currently. Only thing is Rocket League is just too much fun and it will be hard to turn away from it lol.

Abzu 70% off. Bomba? Most people probly refunded the game

It's a good, relaxing game. It tries to emulate the magic of Journey but is not as effective in weaving the narrative threads. Worth a playthrough (or two because the achievements are easy).

Seraph is a side scrolling/character action game that sees you controlling an angel and blasting your way through a variety of procedurally generated levels. It's main appeal is that you don't actually aim in the game. You instead have to focus on acrobatics, dodging and bursting and rushing through the corridors and wider areas, evading enemy attacks while using your abilities to get them into the right positions and finish them off. It's a really stylish looking game, and the feeling of cartwheeling over enemy attacks and shooting them full of bullets is pretty good.

Was going to buy this at full price but realized at its launch that sales were coming. EZ purchase now.

YESSSSSSSS!!!! Seraph is my "surprise game" of the year. I have not found the SHUMP topic yet, but they had BETTER be talking about this one or they ain't -ish.

Highly accessible, high replay value with the upgrade system, daily challenges with leaderboards and a weekly survival. It's a High Score Raider's dream. Plus, the developers keep a close eye on folks cheating (somehow inflating their scores). The story is also intriguing.

Negatives include proceedurally generated levels and repetitive enemies, but once you "git gud," you'll be too busy dodging to care about that stuff. Great soundtrack, too!

Orwell is 20% off.

There is a demo too. Very political state security government 1984 simulator.

I accidently used paypal to buy AUD$50 worth of games instead of the card I just bought at Woolies! So I bought Xcom2 and Batman with the actual card.

Good to see J.U.L.I.A: Among the stars finally with a deep discount.

This is what I'm thinking for my first ever Steam sale haul. Thoughts/critiques? I'll probably wait until the hidden deals thread before I pull the trigger on it. The only game on this list I've played before is Borderlands, and I'm mainly just getting that to play co-op with a couple friends.

Man, I was so ready to spend money but the discounts really aren't great this time. Maybe the worst Steam sale so far? Even the front page of Steam is the most lackluster it has ever been for a sale. I guess I'll get God Eater maybe and then move on.

what is the stanley parable ?

I have a dumb question. I bought a bunch of steam games, but when I downloaded/installed them they did not add to my start menu in Windows 10. Any way I can add them there as a tile?

Does Pony Island require multiple playthroughs or is it a one and done thing?

Please say its a one and done >_>

Those looks like pretty solid purchases. They all have pretty good sales, they're all recognizes as being great games within their genres, none seem immediately likely to be cheaper. The price for Life is Strange is especially good. Good job. The only price that seems a little high is Civ 5 Complete. A lot of what you're paying for there is the DLC. I haven't played enough to know if the DLC is worth it over the base purchase price.

Add in a few hidden gems at $1-2 a pop and you'll have a year's worth of games or more for the price of one AAA new release.

A first-person adventure like Portal except without puzzles and funnier and it's a bizarre piss-take on games and gaming. Extremely British. I think most people who play it, like it, and you'd be able to get a sense of if you like the game well before you hit 2 hours of gameplay time, which is how long you have to refund a Steam game, so it's a pretty safe bet!

Your description sold me on this game, sounds awesome.

I'm always willing to give experimental games a try.
