Has Mike Meyers done anything of worth since the Love Guru?
Jennifer Grey got a nose job.
EDIT: Dammit, beaten.
You forgot that she also shit talked her first major film role in Knocked Up either just before or just after it got released.

The Love Guru pretty much killed Mike Myers's career.

Thora Birch is even worse, her porn star father coached her sex scenes and was a general asshole to people and threatening a cast member on a play she was in. He got her fired from that and many other jobs.
Yeah I think it was in the guardian or something iirc. There was an interview with her a couple years ago where she comes off as really bitter. Especially at the success of Scarlett Johansson.
Isaiah Washington getting fired from Grey's Annatomy for homophobic gay slur rant
Michael Richards and his standup footage that got out. Not on the rise but I've never seen him since.

Oh man, I remember watching this when it happened. So good!

People actually saying something called Empire (I had never heard about it personally and I doubt a lot of people outside of the USA have) is bigger than Iron Man and Marvel lmao I've read it all now. Don Cheadle won here, stop with the embarrassing spinning.
He'd get the money for another Austin Powers movie within seconds. Okay, it's been 14 years, maybe not. Still, I doubt The Love Guru killed his career. It's just one shitty flop for an otherwise popular and successful actor.

Fixed.
That to me sounded like a hostage crisis. She was under the domination of scientology and if she didnt "play nice" she or her kid could be in trouble for sacrilege or whatever. She got all her ducks in row and then bailed the fuck outta dodge.Katie Holmes? She was like the "it" girl coming off Dawson's Creek, gets a role in a Batman reboot but right before release she boards the Tom Cruise crazy train and on the PR tour for Batman Begins she ends up promoting Cruises War of the Worlds. I remember her telling Letterman they should see that instead. Lol
I kind of want to see another Austin Powers film with an older version of that character. GAF would cringe but I would laugh.
You could say the same things about Roman Polanski. Doesn't mean their names aren't forever tarnished.Roman Polanski.
Mel has fucktheworld money and remains quite the well known name outside of the US.
He also continues being an absolutely phenomenal director. Ain't no one can take that away from him.

Isn't Myers also behaving like a diva and very hard to work with? I don't remember where I read that
I’ve definitely said no to some of the wrong people. I said no because I was tired and wanted to spend more time with my friends and family. That’s frowned upon in this industry. People don’t like being told no. I don’t like it. I learned my lesson when [writer-director] Christopher Nolan and I talked about Batman. I decided it wasn’t for me. Then he didn’t want to put me in The Prestige. They not only hired their Batman for it, they also hired my girlfriend at the time.

Hartnett was approached to play Spider-man, Batman and Superman - but he turned them all down.

Career-wise.....it certainly wasn't the best of moves to burn your bridges that way.

Sean Young's campaigning for Catwoman in Batman Returns comes to mind.
Eh, she went from a starring role on Melrose Place to a starring role on Ally McBeal to a starring role on According to Jim to a recurring role on Two and a Half Men. She appeared on prime time tv constantly for more than 20 years and all of those shows aired all over the world, it seems like she made a string of really good decisions (minus the carrot top movie), she's not a A-list celebrity but she probably worked more consistently than 99% of all actors out there.

Has Brandon Routh done anything noteworthy since Superman Returns before Legends of Tomorrow?
Katherine Heigl. She is a case study in how to fuck over your own career.
Lindsay Lohan? After that Herbie movie her (short) career went to shit.
Is empire doing that well??
How is he doing compared to don cheadle? I'm sure if Howard could do things again, he'd love to stay on the marvel gravy train
