Its not the traditional JRPG turn based gameplay. It can be pretty challenging, banging soundtrack and memorable boss fights. Story is alright.
Amazingly good action RPGs, really only for the combat and music. The story is whatever, the map system in the newer Vita game I think is pretty cool.
Just yeah, play them. Maybe theres a demo not sure, all the ones you can buy on steam vita or ps4 psp etc are great.

Been a while since I played it but there are plenty of small choices along the way and who you select for your expedition plays a large part as their quirks have to be managed. So don't bring racist Nun's like I did if you want to be a nice guy!
There is one major choice late on:
whether you want to spread smallpox among the Aztecs or be friends
The game is brilliant btw. Expeditions: Vikings is coming very soon as well.

Yeah the guy who runs that division (maybe just a social networking guy who knows) was active on reddit and cheapassgamer back then and would hype up the sales and actually delivered. Must not have been cost effective since they never did it again.
Essentially yes, they put their focus into mobile. The store was always a mess and they never really fixed it. They still occasionally have good digital deals (and price mistakes), and they still price match the steam sale (which can be helpful), but in terms of the good old days of huge sales and bundles and great deals, it's been dead for a couple years now.
Yeah they put him in charge of the Amazon Coins program for mobile, which is probably why there were some crazy deals for free coins there for a while also. No idea if he is still doing that or not. The guy they put as his replacement was never very involved and disappeared at one point and never came back. They had a couple more sales before they clearly stopped putting any real effort into it. I'm sure they discovered (as most places have) that the percentage of sales that purchase off of Steam is still very small, and chasing the "we only want the best possible deals" crowd isn't exactly the most profitable group to court.

Only had $20.41 in my steam wallet for this sale. Got Xanadu next, pony island, Lakeview cabin collection and blood and bacon. Hoping to play trails in the sky 1 during the holidays so I can finally purchase the 2nd one to prepare for 3 next year.

Yes, Pony Island is awesome. The dev's next game is even more ambitious. It's basically The Hateful Eight with video game archetypes, with each character having their own unique form of gameplay that ties into the story

And yes, Distance is awesome. It's the much expanded successor to one of my favorite freeware games Nitronic Rush, and it's essentially arcade racer meets precision platformer. Devs have done a lot of work and updates on it, I believe it's expected to be finished next year. Coming to PS4 as well

Owlboy has been in limbo for near 10 years and the long time it took to be completed affected its content.
What is there is good but u can tell the devs just wanted to have it released already and finished up stuff where they could.
You can tell, from playing it, that there stuff the team wanted to have in the game but the long delays and development affected it in the end
Also one shouldnt talk about the hype of owlboy unless youve been following it since its announcement ;3 it is a kind of injoke thing
Owlboy is short but a nice adventure game
Doom is fast paced fps goodness

Seconded. It isn't heavy with choice and consequence, but there's enough there to make it feel like your story. That, and the whole survival/management angle make it a great RPG. (IIRC I played it on Hard Ironman the first time through and it felt great.)
And Vikings! That should be amaaaazing.
Good suggestion, I actually ended up doing that on my own! I figured out a good compromise and went Argonian, doing the whole hyphenated-action-describes-character thing.
It really is... Skyrim online. Feels really weird in the 30 minutes of gameplay I got in. Impressed with what they managed to turn the combat into, wasn't expecting that.

Keep in mind that any fightin game can be played casually
After choosing a character in ah3 you must choose an arcana and each arcana offers different benefits to each character. This might seem intimidating at first but if u just pick any one arcana and mess around u might enjoy it as it makes playing any one charavter+different arcana a new experience ;p
Melty blood has a character who can summon a rhino from his dick btw. Cant find a proper gif of it tho but he does do that

Well, this is lame. If you have any sort of card-based supersampling resolution options enabled, STEEP automatically chooses the very highest one possible, but then doesn't actually scale the image to your actual screen resolution. So it's currently displaying the very top-left corner of a 5120*2880 image on my 1440p monitor, and there's no way to actually get into the games graphic options menu to change it. Instead, I apparently have to disable all supersampling resolutions at the card level.
