Yup and I'm getting 3 of 4. Yakuza is a no brainer, and I'm dying to play RE in VR. Gravity Rush is awesome as well, I'll probably burn through GR and alternate between RE and Y0 since too much RE will probably give me a heart attack.

Anyway, I'll be picking up GR2 first and foremost. Next priority games are Nioh, NieR Automata and Persona 5. The others are second banana, though I will likely get KH 2.8 at some point.

The power of Dragon Quest.

I hadn't played the PS2 version so I was going in blind! Was such a wonderful experience and I hope people don't forget about it. Dragon Quest VIII is one of the best RPGs of all time, it's up there with Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 7. If like me you hadn't played it before then you must ignore everything else in January, Dragon Quest VIII is about as good as it gets.

Good, 2.8 would be a horrible entry for a start off point.

but it actually includes the very beginning of the chronological story (Back Cover movie)

[edit] then you'd have to switch over to KH 2.5 to play Birth by Sleep; then switch over to KH 1.5 to play KH1, then watch the 358/2 Days movie, then play Chain of Memories; then switch back to KH 2.5 to play KH2 and watch the Coded movie; then return to II.8 to play Dream Drop Distance and 0.2; then you'll be ready to play KH3. (It all makes sense!)

I'm picking up both Yakuza and Gravity Rush Day 1. Probably get Resident Evil further down the line and I'll get KH 2.8 after the remasters for 1 and 2 hit PS4 in March or whatever. Great start to the year.

Wha, really? I've heard people feel maybe indifferent to it, but not outright dislike it. Reviewers seem to love the music from the sequel as well.

Gravity Rush 2 is the only definite day 1. The others I want to play but need to cull the backlog a little. Plus I really want to replay Kingdom Hearts 2 before dabbling into 2.8

Gravity Rush and Kingdom Hearts are both insta-buys for me. I also just preordered Yakuza 0, though I'll probably wait and play Yakuza 5 first. I was gonna wait for a sale but I had $40 in credit at Best Buy so the game was only $8 for me after GCU.

I'm slightly interested in Tales of Berseria, but I'm waiting for reviews/impressions on that. I dug Xillia but lost interest in Zesteria very quickly.

I don't buy PS4 games at full price which is a real blessing because Yakuza, DQ, and GR2 in one week would have killed me. It would be even worse if I wasn't planning on importing Berseria.
