I think some of you are misinterpreting SFII.
- It's not supposed to be a substitute for all the 3rd party games Sony and Microsoft have. This isn't Nintendo saying: "Look, Sony has SFV, we have SFII!"
- It's the series' anniversary. What do people associate with "old Street Fighter"? SFII.
- Where did people play SFII? On the SNES. With the current Retro trend, the advertisement for this game writes itself. Two friends playing SFII on SNES -> time jump -> two friends playing SFII on Switch.
- I'm not even sure this will be Switch exclusive.
- It's a novelty game. It's not supposed to be the next Street Fighter or anything more than a tribute to the series with the most popular game of that series with some additional content.
How some of you make this feel-good title seem like the death of Switch is beyond me.
