Well, I'm less inclined to believe anonymous insiders because it's super easy to be an anonymous insider and say things that feed into public perception.
It'd be like if an anonymous insider at Pinewood said, "OMG Infinity War is awesome!"; it's something we all basically expect and makes it easier to believe. At this point, I'm believing these rumors when I see them.
Pragmatically, I'm expecting something mediocre, but I really hope DC has it in them to do justice to their premier female character. I'm pulling for Warner to surprise me, but I honestly don't know if they can follow through.

Trust me critics will not shy away from giving a film with a lady superhero a bad review if the film is bad.

That movie was caca though.
The thing thing stopping me from complete despair is Captain Marvel in 2019.

I feel like Wonder Woman is gonna be different, people don't know or care about those three and they are B-A-D movies. There is a chance that having one of the top heroes that even your average Joe/Joan could point out, will lead to more people elevating their scores to reflect the feeling of accomplishing this.

Let's take rumors as a fact one more time. I doubt there's even a final cut of the movie ready, but hey, DCEU movies are all going to be a "mess" before they premiere until they manage to pull out a movie with good critical consensus, because claiming that some "insider" knows the movie sucks gets you the clicks. I don't buy this (maybe if it was closer to release...).

They can take as many L's as they can. Some only see the DC movies as failures as long as Marvel movies remain out-grossing/out-rating them despite having similar quality. I would like to see where Zack Snyder takes his DC universe.
I rated both theatrical BvS and CW an 8. Different audiences, different themes, both enjoyable.
And, rumors are just that: rumors.

Though TBF to the silver lining, the way these kinda people operate, female leads are box office poison for certain genres, and anything that proves this wrong is an outlier. Same with non-white leads (shit, they literally made up a lie about China not being receptive to non-white leads).

I'm not a fan of Snyder BUT a friend of mine who is part of the editing team for a number of WB projects (Serkis' Jungle Book atm) says that the problems for a lot of the studios films are coming primarily from executive meddling.
Take that as you will.
I still dont get how THOR 2 got %66.Its most boring movie of decade.
Man of Steel is leagues better then that crap.

I don't know about these "industry insiders" -- I have no allegiance to any super hero franchise as I typically don't follow the genre. But I do wish they'd just come out and put a name behind these reckless statements. It seems tremendously unfair to the cast and crew who have worked thousands of hours to entertain people. It's not that it's unexpected, it's just kind of sad for everyone involved.

That's that point. They create BS rumors about high profile projects to get clicks, and it gets filtered through a game of telephone until it's spread around among blogs. Like, even the title of this thread itself is a fabrication based on the original fake story. It'd be amazing if it weren't so sad to see how this same wave of misinformation happens with actual important topics.
