I'm guessing the bowling alley held a turkey giveaway for whoever gets a turkey in bowling. Kazuma assumes the turkey meant a juicy roasted turkey but gets a live chicken instead. That's the basic premise of the joke. It goes further when the chicken joins Kazuma as a manager.

In bowling, a turkey occurs when someone gets 3 strikes in a row.

Fyi that scene wont likely trigger if u get a turkey early in the game
You need to advance farther in kiryu's stpry to be able to trigger it
Shpuldnt stop u from playong bowling minigamr tho :3
