That's all that ever mattered to him, the "win". Same as many of his followers, you see them even now, two months later, only every talking about how everyone who opposes Trump is "mad", "salty", "angry that Shillary lost", etc.
They only care about the win because it was all a game to them, two sports teams competing, and their team won, so that's it. They don't and won't pay a single bit of attention to his presidency because they think it doesn't affect them one bit, they'll just continue to obsess over that one night where they "beat the other team" and more importantly, they will view any and every opponent of Trump's through that limited lens. They think everyone else is also obsessing over November 8th and the win/loss.
There's about as much evidence of this as of his charitable contributions.
