i didn't intend to mislead anyone, but possibly misunderstood the spirit of the question

here's a list of all the ambassadors i've met with over the years as a member of the armed services committee

i regret any misunderstandings that may have occurred

i don't think there's really any need for me to recuse myself, but out of an abundance of caution and for the sake of maintaining confidence in the investigation, i will do so

Folks need to temper expectations. He is absolutely not resigning. The best thing we can hope for, right now, today, is recusal of russia-related investigations. Even that is unlikely.
 
This is the part where he defends himself and the IC leaks out more hard evidence to discredit his defense in a day or two right?

IF you didn't know it before, you know it now. Never get the CIA, FBI, NSA, DOJ, DIA, and the NRO upset with you. They will fuck up your whole schedule.

They're not really 'working' too hard. In the case of Congress, they're off for like 3/4 of the year, get taken out to awesome lunches and dinner by lobbyists on a daily basis and do fund-raising/photo ops otherwise. All the actual bill crafting and heavy lifting is done by support staff, the head honchos get to do mostly big picture stuff. All while making an easy $150,000+ a year. It's a pretty fantastic lifestyle even when you're older.

Judges definitely have to work more but it's still a job w/ a lot of help from support staff/law clerks. You work your ass off during your actual career to make it to Judge and once you're there it's a lot less grueling.

Plus the whole power trip part.
 
Damn it I was told he had already resigned lol. I guess he won't. You don't hold a press conference to do that. He's definitely going to double down on FAKENEWS bullshit.

My bet's on recuse but that is just going to raise more questions about who's going to handle it. Does he even have a deputy AG yet?
 
Nope. Dems and the people need to go even harder. Time to start calling your congresspeople and demand that they call for his resignation.
