Unfortunate. I don't know if I'll ever not enjoy the videos of his that I do enjoy, but this puts a damper on me wanting to enjoy future content of his.

A lot of these people fear becoming a minority, despite the fact that, regardless, they'll hold a disproportionate amount of power relative to their demographic size (see white Brazilians and South Africans as the go-to examples).

It's almost like they fear they'll be treated as second-class citizens...

I really think these people just can't be reasoned with. Looking at people like Palmer Luckey or JonTron, I'm reminded of certain kinds of kids back in high school. The types that feel the need to constantly be inside a clique in order to feel exclusive. As soon as they are taken out, they feel as if they've lost their identity and fall apart. I get the feeling the reason why they feel the need to go down this route is so they can feel special. Like they are snowflakes. Both are pretty much just Eric Cartman in real life to put it simply.
 
I think Jon is just... really, really stupid. I don't think he's consciously hateful, but he seems to be wilfully ignorant about the horseshit he's throwing out there. He doesnt realize the damage he's causing with his impressionable audience. Really irresponsible. That said, I can't follow him anymore. Disappointing more than anything else.
