Most of their economic problems and a lot of the crazy shit they put themselves through like workers having to go 14 hours a day 7 days a week could be fixed if they approached immigration differently.

What is it with nerdy entertainment that attracts all the bigots? And before anyone jumps my throat with #Notallnerds, I know shitty people exist everywhere, but they can be found remarkably consistently in any form of nerd media, while they're less prominent in other forms of entertainment.

Video Games? Anime? Comic Books? Comic Book movies? Techie stuff like hardware/software...etc? They're remarkably consistent in where they hang out.

I have a dumb theory, those idiots never left home much in their childhood, so they relied on nerdy media to pass time, and nerdy media RARELY challenges their worldview, that's why when women and non-white protagonists started becoming more common in the past ~2 years they started the GG saga, they're not used to not being pandered to 100% of the time, that's why they went insane when WD2 had a black protagonist or when Horizon Zero Dawn had a woman, they're used to being pandered to, and when Trump became President they felt that they can be bigots publically without repercussions instead of being stuck in the depths of 4chan.

Anyways, it's pretty clear that Jontron can't reasonably back his points here. I dunno why he even bothered to come on.

Which, in fact, they're changing. Starting in March, becoming a permanent resident in Japan is going to become easier for immigrants, favoring skilled labor.
