According to socialblade, which even youtubers use to show growth over time, he hasn't lost any. He's been on the same old slow climb, which seems mostly to be because of lack of content. I don't think this is hurting him much, at least viewer wise, he might lose some deals though.

And I sympathize. I honestly, truly do. Some of my best friends are like this and it drives me nuts because they see how hard I work to fight against it but don't have the time, energy, or otherwise just inclination to contribute.
But...it's your community, too. Maybe the voices of people who have yet to speak up won't help - it might just lead to louder yelling overall. Who knows. But I would at least like to know it matters enough to people to speak out about it.

I'm not a fan of what destiny said after either but I don't consider him exactly worthing of being lifted up to be "the hero we need" for doing what most of us would have done given the chance. When you have a guy literally saying "If you don't think we got rid of discrimination in America you live in a fantasy land" you don't have to do alot to win that debate or look good by comparison.

Yeah, everything he did during the debate was fantastic. And considering where we're currently at with gaming personalities using mild-ableism is not as bad as full blown white supremacy. It wasn't really that long ago that retarded was used very commonly, though that doesn't excuse it's continued use today.
Everyone should be held to a higher level. Either way Destiny still seems like a pretty intelligent, well meaning person. Even if he is kinda edgy, it's not like he's some alt-right edgelord. Take what you can get, I guess.
