Granted I'm sure Arin probably wouldn't do a show with him now, but I remember in late 2015 Arin appeared in a Jontron episode and they did a "reunion" gag with it. They're probably still on good terms.

Destiny had already argued with him for 2 hours so I can't blame him but I wish he had pointed out what's disgusting about that statement instead of asking him to name countries in Africa
Considering how quick they were to respond to the whole PDP thing - I wouldn't be surprised if they take some kind of action against Jon. Even if he wasn't using his channel to push this stuff.

Not exactly. He was attempting (keyword there) to suggest that black men's crime stats being influenced by their enviroments (which included things like too many single mothers) was an excuse that could no longer be justified. As in, there has to be some other reason for their behavior, though he would not actually state what that was.
My god this reminds me of this girl I used to work with. White, blonde, always wore pink, absolutely loves Starbucks, etc. Everytime she walked in with Starbucks she would say "Hash Tag basic bitch" (out loud)...EVERY TIME.

On the stream one of the donations read something like "3 years ago some woman told Jon to check his privelige and got triggered so hard he went full nazi" that I think is actually probably close enough to the truth for these types of guys.
They get in hot water for something they did and they just end up totally embracing the opposite of the spectrum in order to maintain that they were right.
People like to comfort themselves with this thought but its bullshit. There are a lot of smart and charismatic racists.

Another big name in the gaming community shows himself to a bigot. Not surprised after everything I've seen with the Gamer Gate and the like. It's really troubling as a person of color; knowing that so many preeminent figures within a hobby/industry I adore essentially hate people that share my characteristics. On the other hand I do love the openess. Helps me to put the frauds in the boxes they deserve to be in. I'll add him to this list. Who's next??
I know it's just an expression but to me the point of life is fighting ignorance so it doesn't get passed on to the next generation. Life to me is learn as much as you possibly can and better yourself, then pass that knowledge off to our future and hope they hold the same values when they become free thinkers. Where are all the critical thinkers?
