Absolutely.

Perhaps a Shazam skin for Black Adam, Superman can spawn a lot of them (wonder if we'll get Cyborg Superman again), Batman has SO many different iterations (Azrael Batman, DickBats, etc.), Wally West/Kid Flash for Barry, etc.

I'm sure it's a lot easier to do the skins than entire new characters, after all.
 
Batman's Premier Skin could also be Terry McGinnis. Which is the one i'd want together with Flashpoint Batman/Thomas Wayne. The latter could have some fun dialogue with Flash.
 
Can Premier Skin change genders and in MK9 the cyber ninjas had human skins. The human skins had reanimated moves, will the injustice Premier Skin have this also?

Premium skins are only a look and voice change, no gameplay change even if it's animations. Though who knows, they may go back on this further in the game's life.

And we haven't had any confirmation on gender change. I personally hope it's the case.

Imagine if it was something like "Beat all characters from this Earth" with you getting to choose what Earth to take on like Earth-30/Red Son etc.

In addition to the campaign, online, and fighting game standard arcade modes, Injustice 2 also introduces the new Multiverse mode. Similar to Mortal Kombat X's Towers, the Multiverse allows players to travel to an ever-changing series of parallel worlds in the DC Universe and battle alternate versions of the heroes and villains with various handicaps, stipulations, and goals. Completing the gauntlet, you'll gain access to various tiers of Motherboxes, which yield new gear, items, and shaders for your characters. Unfortunately, it's looking like the micro-transaction system from Mortal Kombat X might be making a return in this title. While the devs were cagey on giving details, there's a big focus on gaining credits for motherboxes in game that seems like a given that increased monetization will be back.

The first issue of the Injustice 2 prequel comic book has been released, I just finished reading it. Its a little slow going and not much happens, but the artwork is fantastic and Tom Taylor writes a great Harley Quinn. There's a brilliant exchange between
Batman and Harley, wherein Harley mistakenly assumes Bats has asked her to be the next Robin
. The final page of the issue introduced the new
Suicide Squad
featuring
Captain Cold
. I'm guessing it'll come up in-game at some point.

This is most likely Joker, and the final one before release.

Also, I have no idea why but I think that that might be the date that the I2 mobile game releases.

The last box that isn't a DLC character or Darkseid is now marked 4.28.17, and Brainiac's already unlocked.

We have gotten in-game screenshots of him at least.

They might show off a bit of Brainiac alongside Joker in this trailer. Heck, they might even breakdown Brainiac for the watchtower stream two weeks from now!
 
Its Joker because Brainiac was already revealed and is on the website.

Also at this time we have like 2-3 weeks until release. At this time they wanna have the entire base roster out like MKX.

Fair enough, I forgot that Brainiac was already on the site (& I couldn't check at the time since I was in class).

Either way, we'll get our Joker reveal in due time.
 
Questions for those following the game closely-- Anything known about game modes so far? Arcade stuff, or tower, or mission things like the first game with STAR labs? I don't really remember what MKX was rocking, so I hope we some fun stuff to play around in.

Second, are we thinking premier skins are few and far between, or will every character have one at launch? I hope the game is PACKED with them. They're fun! Can totally make a character you're not interested in, something worth giving a look

They haven't shared much regarding the modes yet. They say they have quite a bit but we really know about : story, arcade, tower ( multiverse ) and online ( lots of stuff there but no team battles ).

An extreme minority of characters have premium skins so far. But shaders and gear pieces can fit what you're looking for. ( change of hair, skin color, new look etc... )

I do wonder if we'll get more premium skins as unlocks in game. Maybe there's a Green Arrow path in the story and if you choose to play it you get Red Arrow like others suggested? My hype for this game is at a boiling point. I don't think I've ever been so excited for a game release before. I'm starting to wonder if I have a problem lol. So we're having a GAF guild right?
