I want them to open-up with a new Destruction Derby and SOCOM.

Somewhere in the middle announce Gran Turismo Sport will have real-time...time...and weather effects along with a fully integrated course maker.

End with a clip of a MotorStorm Pacific Rift remaster.

Thanks Sony.

Downhill Domination 2 should open the show this year

DMC5 and Emily Blunt in Death Stranding are my dreams for this E3

Hoping Metal Gear Survive shows up at MS and Major Nelson tweets that it's exclusive to Xbox

"Secret project" is a weird way to phrase "press preview" unless Greg/KF got some sort of exclusive thing. It may not necessarily be games-related.

Anyway, if it's not an exclusive, we should hear from other grapevines whether or not there's indeed some sort of Spidey preview thing going on.

nah, the NC team is the Ratchet one. Spider-man it mostly beeing done at the CA studio

if a preview would happen for Spider-man, it would be in California where SIE, Marvel Games and Insomniac have offices

A new destruction derby? That's an awesome idea! Really liked that game!

I think they'll have another exclusive Fighter to show. Sony loves fighters and has locked most of the hardcore ones to their system.

Has a timetable been made yet?

iirc Cheesemeister usually makes one each year

We don't have all the times yet. Missing Ubi and Nintendo. They'll probably be the same as usual, but ya you never know I guess.

Edit: Here's everything so far though:

June 10

12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET – Electronic Arts (EA Play 2017)

June 11

2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET – Microsoft
7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET – Bethesda Softworks

June 12

6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET – Sony Interactive Entertainment

Unannounced

Nintendo (no press conference, likely Digital Event)
Ubisoft

Hahaha, what are you talking about?

Microsoft have this conference to make or break Scorpio, plus they've gotta make up for the negativity brewing from the death of Scalebound. It's not unreasonable to think they may have some aces.

Still wouldn't count Sony out though, this has been their gen through and through. And with the right announcements Nintendo could make the Switch a powerhouse for the holidays.

Yeah, uh, you'd be delusional to do that

MS will be unveiling new hardware. That alone will get people talking. But that means nothing unless the games follow. And unless they secure some big 3rd party exclusive. I don't see how they really "shock" us on that front.

Does Sony blow us away? I'm not sure, but if the conference is anything like last years. It's going to be good.

I mean already you got Destiny 2, CODWWII, SWBF2, updates on games like Detroit, GT Sport, etc. Possible RDR2 trailer.

I don't know if i want the live orchestra yet again.
On one hand it's an amazing thing, on the other hand it would feel like they're just recycling whatever idea they had that makes them "win" the conference.

Still, i guess epic live music is always better than no music at all.

Also hoping for very small talk like last year.

I am voting for two orchestras that play against eachother or together, dependent on game.
But other than that I do not know what Sony could do to excel last years showing, but they do not need to. They only need to keep on course, not exciting but good.

Just do what they did last year. Just show games. A constant stream of games.

Like I said. MS is unveiling new hardware. So their conference will most likely center around that. So that alone will have people talking.

Sony just needs to show games like they did last year. When All is said and done. That's what people will be talking about.

The amount of people clamoring for a new SOCOM at this point is crazy. It might just happen. They seem to always be listening.

I'm kinda going to miss Monday being the big day where everyone had a press conference. It was nice being able to watch everything one right after the other. Then a Nintendo conference the next morning and that's it. Sucks everything is spread out this year.

It seems kind of unreasonable though. People expect big things from Sony because WWS is a juggernaut and having twice as much hardware sold as their nearest competitor means 3rd parties are naturally going to lean their way.

MS will have a solid show as they usually do but I don't expect any shocking software announcement along the lines of what we've seen from Sony in the past 2 years.

Pretty much.

I bet MS has some supersizes.

MS's memorable E3 moments are when they take shots and make dealz. They try and do "betrayalton" in these big important moments and I am not sure what the 2017 version of FFXIII on Xbox / GTA4 exclusive DLC would be though. I guess Insomniac working with Xbox was meant to be that in 2013.

I could toss some darts at a board of Japanese developers and currently PS4 centric games and write up some ideas I could see them doing though.

When they got hardware coming and they need to make big moves they love drama. I expect drama.

Japan coming to Microsoft's rescue seems about as likely as a Half Life 3 announcement.

The GTA4 and FFXIII stuff didn't happen just because MS had money to throw around. PS3 getting it's teeth kicked in by Wii and 360 helped a lot to create those "betrayalton" moments.
