...what? Switch is going to destroy Vita sales.

And also is bound to have lots of JP support (such as SMT, MH etc).

You dont know that, its way too early to tell. IT would do better then Wii u thats for sure.

Edit: For some reason i was thinking of psp, yes I agree it would beat vita sales lol

About the complaints on the first page, the time chosen is absolutely the right choice because the presentation is focused on the North American audience first and foremost. It is E3 after all.

A huge chunk of that audience would not be able to watch properly if it was during the school or work day.

Yeah Switch is poised to be a success beyond WiiU and Vita.

Yes.

Like those systems tried to do, it will have a different draw than PS4 for consumers, that's also for sure. Not least of which because of the limitations of circa 2016 mobile hardware and the cost of larger game cards.

the vita only sold a few million more than the Wii U

Uhhh, nope, that's not a fact at all. We don't have official up-to-date shipment numbers (or sold through) from Sony, so that could be false, and is certainly not known.

Gut feeling is that Wii U sold more (in slightly less time) since Vita virtually disappeared from shelves hardware-wise in the west after 2014, but we simply do not know, and most likely will never know..

Games

Sony's first party games are better than Nintendo's and the Switch probably won't be getting any of the third party Vita games liked like Digimon, Ys or Danganronpa.

I want some of that Insomniac Spiderman. That's all I know. Live demo or bust.

Also Horizon ZD DLC info. Also new God of War gameplay trailer. Also a showing of Dreams that makes it look like an actual game (yes, I've seen their live streams). Also next Sucker Punch game announcement.

I love how prevalent the DMC5 anticipation is. Could it really happen? Fans are still in the ashes of a franchise burned for no reason...
Devil May Cry 2 screwed up the franchise harder then DmC, yet it still got a 3rd title that was better then ever.

I really really hope Insomniac's Spider-Man game has a dynamic day & night and weather system.

I wanna climb the tallest building and then just sit there looking down what's going on in the streets and not giving a fuck if somebody gets robbed.

I feel Nintendo's stuff generally has the highest peaks (Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Xenoblade Chronicles), but it's a closer race than some Nintendo-only fans feel.

I don't always enjoy Sony's stuff, but when they're on top of their game like with Uncharted 4, or to include a partner's exclusive, Ratchet & Clank 2016, well, Sony can compete. It's not like either is entirely consistent either; Nintendo has released stuff like Yoshi's New Island, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash, Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Pokemon: Battle Revolution, etc...

So are there any actual Bloodborne 2 rumours?

We only know that From Software is working on a "dark" sequel.

Bloodborne sold 3 million on an exclusive system with medium-low promo and it was a brand new IP in 2015 where PS4 had a much smaller install base.

It was a huge homerun for From Software and Sony.

A sequel is undoubtedly coming.

A sequel to Bloodborne would be cool but what would it be about?

The only thing that could come within a fraction of my hype for DMC5 is Bloodborne 2.

I would be all over that like white on rice.

I wonder what people's reactions will be if we get BBII but it's not directed by Miyazaki. Will it be another "Dark Souls 1 is better than 2 because Miyazaki was the director" scenario?

I'd be fine with it if Tanimura were to direct it. DS2 turned out fine, considering that he had to take over as director midway through development. I'd imagine DS2 would have been much better if he was director from the start

They never said they were working on a sequel. Just that they were working on a dark fantasy RPG. Probably a new IP

Yeah this makes more sense than to shackle themselves to the same world. I feel like there's no where to go in the Bloodborne universe.

I would love a VitA 2 but Sony is struggling to support PSVR right now and closed more than a couple studios in the last few years, I don't think they can support a third platform. Even more now that they are expanding into mobile.

If sony continues to bench japan studios over their western devs, im not interested on what sonys first party making.

I hope Ubisoft's press conference is at 3pm PST again this year. The wait between theirs and Sony's last year was painful, and that was with Ubisoft doing everything they could to stretch out theirs.

They just released The Last Guardian and showed it at E3 two years in a row. They announced Knack 2 at PSX. What more do you want in this short span of a time?

Sony makes better games than Nintendo and gets more third party content that interests me. Which is why I'd be way more interested in a potential Vita successor than I am in my Switch.

Basically this. Sony does more interesting things as far as IPs go, and they will get third parties on board better than Nintendo does.

They're working on Knack 2, have release Gravity Rush 2 and The Last Guardian mere months ago and they also helped ship Bloodborne. What more do you expect from them?

I'm still not sold on days gone to be honest. I thought the trailer was good but the gameplay didn't do much for even with that amount of zombie-whatever on screen at once.

But we're talking about handhelds here right? Like let's not make this a list wars, but that's one space where Nintendo is unmatched if we look at there history.

If those games want to continue to exist the developers will have to move to Switch eventually.

But what Sony first party Vita games are you talking about? Uncharted Golden Abyss? Killzone?

I hope we get theater announcements soon. I loved watching Sony's presentation in theaters even though I was the only one there.
I think Days Gone is going to be a much bigger game than the majority of GAF believes.
Days Gone is definitely not my thing so I'm not gonna play it but I really hope it succeeds in the market. We need more awesome games and Days Gone will help out with that.

I have to slap myself every time now as i can't believe we're so close to E3 again...
*breathes in paper bag*

So many titles i'm hoping for, on information/vids/demos/content etc...*sigh

So, i'm just gunna go all in and hope for the best.
