Maybe Xbox 10S, 10>1 and they used S for One S, plus Windows 10 and all.
Would make sense just like PS4/PS4P, keeping the name close to the original yet distinctive.

Nah, it's defo be Called Xbox One something. The same disk will play in both machines, so the name stays, like the PS4 Pro, otherwise average Joe might get confused, that's the last thing they want.

I honestly think that having again the most powerful console will help the Xbox brand more than sales itself ot this new console which I don't expect to be this impressive at 399 or upwards. Still, Xbox now is struggling to find an identity and since it was - especially with the first Xbox - recognized as being at least the most powerful console, it's good to regain that mindshare and be the destination for hardcore graphics fans. At least in the console market, obviously.

Which is why they probably stayed away from marketing deals. The system with 3rd parties will sell itself.
I think it'll be called Xbox 1 + 5 = 6 > 4
People will call it Xbox 1 + for short.

That makes no sense, the Xbox One isn't going anywhere when Scorpio releases so why wouldn't they want marketing deals to boost what will be their best selling iteration of their console?
This is definitely not the reason they don't have 3rd party marketing deals.

Yeah, just go Xbox Scorpio. Skips all the numbering stuff but also reduces confusion about just bring a slightly modified Xbox One.

I really hope Rare would just be providing insight and support to a Battletoads game (like they did with KI) and someone else is actually making it. You could probably get a smaller studio to make one for fairly cheap.

severely doubt rare is making anything other than sea of thieves and prototypes for their nexr gane. they're probably overseeing the project if it exist

I have to question if MS will name the new xbone anything close to S because an S model already exists... And XS makes me think extra small which I doubt they would want.
I wish they could keep the new box named as Scorpio but they already branded their soon to be lower end model the S which could get confusing.
Maybe rebrand the xbone S as something else moving forward so the new box can be the new S/Scorpio?

'The New Xbox' seems very likely at this point but I really would prefer they just called it Xbox Scorpio..it sounds good and people know what it is.
For price I've been saying $399 since it was announced and I'm gonna stick with that. $499 wouldn't shock me especially if it came with a AAA pack in title but I think it's a big missed price impact opportunity if they go that high.
People saying $349 need to put the pipe down.
I don't want to set myself up for disappointment but now I'm getting super hyped for a new Ninja Gaiden...damn you guys.
