Xbox E3 Conference 6/11 2pm PST

Nah dont call it scorpio. Its cool as a codename, but not as a retail product.
I think they will call it just Xbox, just like the new surface pro
 
I would love a new Kameo game. The first was excellent and at the time, visually it was stunning (it still is actually). Game had a lot of great amount of areas to explore and the play mechanics with switching between forms was pretty great.

I also think a new Banjo in the spirit of the first and second game would do good, especially with new Mario out at the end of the year, a character platform type of game may be popular again and we don't have many of those on Xbox anyways.

But that was before Brexit. After Brexit some companies (Apple? Not sure) have priced stuff £=€, while others have not.

It used to be 1£=1.35€ while now it's 1£=1.15€ so it can go either way.
 
Man I'm pumped I actually get to watch a Microsoft e3 conference live since it's on a Sunday!! Even more pumped we get to find out what the hell the Scorpio actually is

A lot of people really didn't appreciate Kameo for what it was around the time it was released, but perhaps time has taught people to appreciate those kinds of games a lot more.

That's in the hands of the devs. I fully expect some of them to push res way higher then on PS4 Pro which in same cases might lead to some more dips. The resulting DF thread will be embarrassing of course but what can you do.

Same here. I'm usually on vacation E3 week so I always get to see it live. I liked their usual Monday spit but Sunday is cool as well. I just have the feeling that Microsoft is going to have a fantastic show this year.

I've been waiting for a good Father's Day sale to buy a 4K TV. That means, in all probability I will pick one up Sunday AM. What better way to watch the reveal of Scorpio.

The problem is, instead of an S, I had previously upgraded my XB1 to an Elite. It was a great deal, and since I already had an Elite controller I was able to sell it off to make the console even cheaper.

But now I think I will have to get an S to watch the conference on Sunday, too. Plus, I'm really looking forward to FH3 in HDR goodness. But it does seem silly to buy a console to watch a reveal of a console that will replace it in just a few months.

I'm wondering how much I can get for my Elite without selling the controller with it. GameStop won't take it in trade without it, but they also don't offer enough to make rebuying a new controller worth it.

I didn't know about this, thanks for posting. I just recently moved to Spain from the UK, so this would've caught me and pissed me off as I settle down to watch!

Most good 4k TVs have a 4k YouTube app you can watch it on.
 
I have Sunday off so I'm super pumped to watch this live! I'm currently torn on how I'll do things though. I'd like to watch on Mixer, but my One S is currently hooked up to the TV in the bedroom. Not sure if I'll be motivated enough to move it downstairs.

My other dilemma will be Scorpio related, as I'm not sure which TV I'll want to hook that up to. My One S will go on whatever TV Scorpio isn't on, but I need to pick! The living room set is a really nice Sony that I bought a few years back that has better colors, sound, etc... but I currently play on it less. The upstairs TV is a cheap 1080p set I bought this year but I do most of my gaming on it. Decisions!
 
If I were to be in the scorpio pre-ordering market, is Amazon the only place that doesn't charge you until it ships or is that a standard thing nowadays. I don't do much pre-ordering

Yes and no. Most places don't "charge" you until the product ships, but the real issue is pre-authorizations. Amazon is the only online retailer I know of that will neither charge nor pre-authorize your card for pre-orders. Sites like Best Buy, Gamestop, etc... won't charge until they ship, but they'll hit you with a pre-auth hold for the full amount upon placing the order.

Not really an issue if you're using a credit card, but I refuse to pre-order from those companies with a bank card.

I have that feeling too. Will pre-order as soon as the solid details arrive. Price and release date being the main info.
