I don't think he is either. It's disappointing because they gave us something to expect after their first couple of showings. But at the same time, I get that Kojima felt he needed to make a splash after splitting away from Konami. No new info at all would be surprising given he's flying out to E3 at all though.

emma stone will be there to announce her involvement with the project. she'll then do a bit with tom holland when they segway into the new spiderman game ;)

Trust me, I hope you are right, but Kindergarten Cop taking place in Silent Hill had much stronger evidence.
 
Damn shame. I was really looking forward to finding out more about the game, be it in the form of another bizarre trailer or actual gameplay. Dope image, though.

Hmmm... Any idea as to what it could mean?! It would be odd to mask a new IP under a fake name as he did with MGSV, right? How are these things connected? They almost have to be given it all falls under the same company and all sound like very Kojima-y things to trademark...

Any other game, I couldn't care less... but this is perhaps the one game I hoped to see more of this E3.
 
Kojima should've stayed quiet about being with Geoff. Then that way they could've done a skit where Kojima calls in from Tokyo, Del Toro walks on set and turns a valve and all the sudden Kojima pops out from behind the couch.

WASTED OPPORTUNITY!
 
This just allows for Sony to announce some more megaton-level shit at E3 without having to worry about outdoing or being overshadowed by Death Stranding.
 
Call me crazy but I believe him. Gotta save some goods for TGS and of course PSX which is nearly an E3-tier conference at this point. Expect an extended gameplay demo next time we see Death Stranding.

That said, I wouldn't be shocked if he has some other things cooking. If I were Sony I'd use him sorta like prime Miyamoto where he had his main project, but also had his hands in various pots around the company. Plus I NEED he and Toyama to collaborate on a Survival Horror game. I need it in the worst way.
 
It makes me sad that I haven't followed Kojima enough to know if he is the kind of publisher that enjoys trolling those who follow him. Mind you though, I wouldn't put it against him since it isn't uncommon for games that were featured in Sony's Conference to have a mysterious absence the following year.

This is why Sony E3 conferences are almost never the winner for me. Unless there's a realistic chance the game will be released in the next year, I don't care to be tantalized
