That's literally the tip top of the ice burg for what it's done for players and other people. If it isn't money it's support in so many ways. Again none of this excuses Chris or anyone else but let's not act like the entire FGC filled with his kind. I'm sure some will take this like I'm trying to sweep it under the rug, but the FGC has so much good in it that the bad shit like this is worth dealing with to keep it going. So I hope his sponsors and TOs take a hardline stance with him
 
Just hateful and ignorant. How can he not realize he's extremely skilled at only a handful of games and that it's guaranteed black women are better than him at others?? Humans were a mistake.

The FGC in general is like a giant high school in that if you're around long enough you know everybody and everybody knows you. Go to a few events and meet people.
 
People expect sponsor drops but I doubt it. Mango is a wife beater and he's still with freaking C9. Noel Brown never got banned for life as he deserved. Flash is a thief yet he's sponsored. Even if you look at esports in general you see orgs with CEOs that do immature shit like dissing other players and liking tweets that diss said players. Or orgs screwing up minors with shady contracts. Heck if you look at real life you got the president of your country winning his campaign by saying even worse shit. Not excusing Chris G but what he said is nothing compared to the bigger picture.

No I totally get it. Physical or digital, top athletes stay in no matter what they do outside of the sport because they're a big name and their way of play bring in viewers.

Just because that's "just the way it is" doesn't mean it's right though.

I started to like Chris G more over the years. I felt like he was becoming... Less douchey? Lol. I guess I was wrong. What a disappointment.

Daigo is a nurse and caretaker and is currently trying to help his friends mental health and has been a pretty model figure since the beginning of the FGC.

There are winners and loser and the majority of em aint got their heads so far up their own asses to see that they can play the game and not be a jackass.

Anyway, this guy just seems like such a douche. I don't know him personally, but I keep seeing him whining on facebook all the time from various posts people in the FGC show. Last one I recall was him claiming that the pools were rigged against his favor at NCR.

SonicFox is always described as people who know him as a "very nice kid". I see him offering up pizza to his fellow competitors on stream. You just only hear about the assholes because they scream the loudest.

Stop. Daigo is not a nurse.

He was a nurse/caretaker when he was in fighting game indecision back in like 2010. That is no longer the case for years now. The rest is true though

It really seems that way. Seems like every month there is another thread with a Pro doing something disgusting.

It's unfortunate cause I'm sure there are plenty of legit good guys too.

TBH I would like to win like him more. Being paid to talk at Universities to full rooms, a paid salary, manga and book deals, etc.

Most pro-players are paid a plane ticket at most and probably some Chef Boyardee to stay alive.
