House GOP may pass Senate's "skinny repeal" outright. CALL YOUR SENATORS.

Possible, but they've been ruling against gerrymandering in states on a consistent basis, so it's not guaranteed either.
I think that's fair. They're really skiddish about federal anythings though. Gay marrage passed by the skin of the courts teeth, and gay marrage is way more popular (publicly, at least) than gerrymandering reform.

Pence has been working McCain for at least 15 minutes now. One on one. Republicans holding vote open for the VP.

I'm so tired and anger right now, I can't decipher what you meant, so I will just copy and paste the meaning I was going for-

Social Darwinism follows the mantra of "the strong survive," including human issues. This theory was used to promote the idea that the white European race was superior to others, and therefore, destined to rule over them.

McConnell is intently watching Pence work McCain from 25 feet away.

Pence's friendly chat looks more serious now.

A big fuck you to the turtle.

How long could they hold for if they don't have the votes?

I think I remember them delaying a budget bill until the next day in a situation like this. There might not be a vote at all tonight.

Come on McCain. Strike this down and we may forgive you for inflicting Palin on us.

For fuck's sake John, just leave us with something positive.
Just have a fucking soul and don't cave in like a bitch that I'm going to rightfully assume you will be.

Pence telling him, 'you'll be dead anyway. You won't have to put up with any backlash'

For those asking how long they can hold the vote for:

Dan Diamond @ddiamond

2003: House GOP didn’t have votes on Medicare bill. Held it open for hours, finally got lawmakers to switch by dawn.

That time, it was open for three hours.

McCain should just tel pence he's a hard yes and vote no. Let's get this done already.

This non vote making deals before a vote shouldn't be allowed.

I don't believe it. I want to, surely, but I don't really believe that McCain will finally see the light here.

This is a show. He'll cave in the end.
