See I don't know how to feel about this. Loved the tv show and it ended in a spot I was happy about. Don't know if I really need more of a resolution after the film, and this is an alternate timeline interquel as far as I'm aware so even less of a reason to get hyped.![]()

Well there is several animes on the format. So is 4k really more than just a PR gag?
Yes and yes. Though some of the volumes (7, 11 and 13 to be exact) contain multiple side stories that don't exactly move the story forward, yet are very enjoyable on their own right. The one containing the merchant beginnings of Even Bolan is particularly great. And the stuff from volume 3, while not terribly important or anything, is still part of the main story, with returning elements and characters later on.That's all they adapted? There are 17 volumes total?!?
Konosuba Season 2 Episode 1
Usually a protagonist in Kazuma's spot would turn to the dark side and hate everyone's guts lol. Seeing how everyone was against him including his teammates. Poor Kazuma just wanted to be a cool adventurer.
The lie detector test was hilarious. I swear Aqua is the worst, she's such a shitty Goddess lmao. I still like her though. Good save by Darkness, but she's still a masochist.
Also Meguin and her explosion magic.
I remember your comments from the other day, I'm watching you

This show is aho in a good way.
Konosuba Season 2 Episode 2
Speaking of Meguin we find out she spent her days stealing food and her rival Yunyun has no friends lol.
I feel like the more we watch this the more Yoshino wins because she's sucking us in with her stupidity.

Also the AnimeNewsNetwork review of the movie said the movie has no fan service like the TV series and that it's tonally different. Basically its better than the TV series.
Now this is surprising because I found the TV series to be very enjoyable, but it did have some questionable fan service. So seeing this movie not have it should be a good thing.
Edit: Makes me excited to see it.
Gamers! 3
Am I not supposed to like this? Because I am liking it...a lot...
LMAO

Even though the show tries to push hard at how stupid she is, it doesn't work for me at all. She comes off as lazy and immature, but not stupid.
She thinks sentai shows are real...
Always be equipped for the nextJapan tripadventure!
Gamers episode 3
Was that a Nier reference? Does the game really end withthe creator showing off a fish he caught?
That fucking scene killed me lmao. The chess scene is just icing on top.
Everything just runs away from Yunyun.
You guys and your weird 'roleplay'.
Agent Aika is a masterpiece though.

Reading up on the new Eureka Seven movies...
...That's such a weird addition...

[Made in Abyss] - 4
When will somebody think of the children?
Untrue. A lot of the digital effects can and will be produced in higher resolutions. Gundam Thunderbolt is the other example we have so far of UHD anime and that's done in 4K.But nothing is produced at that resolution. But I guess HDR is the gamechanger here.

That was insanely cute. Virgin Soul is like they thought that the dance scene of the first season was very good and they decided to make a season that focuses on that. We had like 3-4 episodes that are expanded scenes of Charioce and Nina, and honestly, I can't have enough of this. Charioce x Nina is the best ship, though I feel that it is kind of fucked up and hypocritical to their allies. Also, it's pretty much sealed that Charioce will be victimized. Let's forget the double genocide he committed.
So is 4k really more than just a PR gag?

Well, a project like MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THUNDERBOLT commercialised on UHD BD is actually produced at 1440×810 for the conformed Digital Intermediate before the video upscaling done in authoring (there are other benefits for the use of the format, of course), but it is worth noting how, for example, the rendering of scenes integrating mostly animation of CGI assets are a more achievable prospect to be produced with higher base resolution targets in mind... than what has to be done with the line-art which is the main limiting factor on itself. All-time proponents of full digital animation like '.GIF generation' (or 'web-gen') godfather ryo-timo have been talking about the compromises derived from the (still necessary practically on every project) step of scanning paper sheets, of which it is very difficult to extract information easily usable for impending new standards compared to the more straightforward digital-only workflow. Using the 'AJA Fr01' A4 layout paper standard from The Association of Japanese Animations (http://aja.gr.jp/jigyou/chousa/aja_layout), that is distributed in files featuring graphs rated at 72 DPI and devised originally for a 720×405 base resolution in mind, for FHD to be resolved while keeping comparably fine detail intact data at 192 DPI must be obtained. To more comfortably work on such prospective ends paper sheets beyond A2 size should be used! However, and as Theonik mentions for instances like FX, composing each frame depends of several independent elements that could have been rendered variably, so the final result isn't entirely dictated by line-art from one sheet alone; RURIN's famous spectrum analyses pointed how some scenes featuring mostly animation or rigging with 3DCGI models overall could be rendered at differing higher resolutions, on shows like Evangelion: 3.0.Untrue. A lot of the digital effects can and will be produced in higher resolutions. Gundam Thunderbolt is the other example we have so far of UHD anime and that's done in 4K.
