Wasn't there a rumor or something about how Okami HD was already rendering at 4K? I could swear I read something about how they had the extra overhead and used that to make it look as clean as possible.

That was extra stress that they did not need but had to endure because someone decided to leak info, though the blame also lies with Ubisoft for not being more water tight with their info.

I've been wanting to play this again. I have it on my PS3 but I don't want to dig it out of storage. I hope this comes to fruition and because I bought it on PS3, hopefully I'll get it for free on the PS4.

You're too lazy to get your PS3 out of storage to play the game for free but you also hope that you will get it free on the PS4.

I remember playing this game for about 10-12 hours and thinking I had got to the end before being lampooned and finding out I had another 40-something to go. The pacing in this game is a real kick in the balls.

That's simply not true. Where is The Silver Case for Switch? Guardians of the Galaxy? Assassin's Creed? Mario Odyssey at launch? Etc.

Her record with software is spotty at best.

The only reason I think this may be true, is there's no mention of a Switch version and that sounds like a typically stupid Capcom thing to do.

Slightly off-topic, but GameCube VC could still happen. Nintendo hasn't announced what it's doing with VC yet. GameCube VC isn't a rumor to put in the False/Wrong pile just yet, IMO.

Agreed. Never understood why some people are so against remasters. They don't hurt the industry or take away resources from New games, and in fact can do the opposite. They are low-cost, highly profitable efforts that can even pave the way for new games. I mean, just look at Crash. We're probably getting a new Crash game at some point in the future, and we have N'Sane Trilogy's success to thank for that. I also consider remaster vital to the preservation of this medium's history for as long as Consoles are continually released without any form of Backwards Compatibility.
