Yea. Same thing happened to me. The game also keeps giving me Ahamkara's Spine. I've gotten 3 so far. The game really wants me to have that Exotic I guess.

I assume you can transfer your sparrow to a new Guardian as soon as that character gets to the farm?

That sounds amazing. I've been loving the Sunshot so far in the campaign, but I have to try that out.
 
It's kind of a bummer that the game launched like 4 days ago and already everyone in the Strike Playlist is absolutely sprinting through strikes. I don't expect to do a lot of exploring, but I'd like a little time to enjoy the scenery and setpieces. I feel like I can barely keep up or put in a good performance.

I think Destiny 1 did a much better job with strikes -- letting you do a slow-paced, low-level version of them all before putting you on a high-level grind-oriented playlist. Sometimes I'm not even sure if I've played a particular strike before because they are all such a blur in my memory.
 
Few thoughts and questions I guess. This game is amazing, me and the wife are having a blast. My favorite auto rifle currently is Origin Story. Has solid stats and really easy to control down range, haven't gotten another that comes close to it. Favorite exotic is Sunshot (please dont nerf in PVE!) ,followed by Merciless which is aptly named cause it melts enemies with high hp. I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere but not clear on when things like the memory quest reset. Had to do all 3 of them in order to get one engram so not looking forward to playing so many repeat story missions. Overall this game eclipses D1 in every way possible.

exactly how i feel with this game. i'm never going to be able to keep up. i'm enjoying it so far but seriously considering if i will actually buy it on PC as originally planned.

the first expansion is due out in december so for a slow player like myself by the time i catch up then i'll be back to playing catch up again.
 
So I made a second Warlock to get more Powerful Gear rewards, and they are capping out at 275. Guess Bungie has a system in place for this. Time to make a Hunter now.
 
So once you are passed 265 power should you just hold on to your tokens and weapon parts? Every time I turn something it will never be above what I currently have. Of course I'm still hoping for armor that has +5 on it.
 
There are only 2 subclasses per class right? Stormcaller, Nightstalker and Sunstriker were cut, correct? Because there are still very recent articles claiming they are in so I just wanted to be sure that I haven't missed anything.

i'm dismantling everything. even exotics but with them you should keep them if you like how it plays or it is more powerful so you can infuse it.

i'm a noob though so don't really know what i'm doing. still learning :)

3. my warlock has dawnblade, voidwalker and stormcaller.

Yeah the only reason Destiny 1 had so many OT is because people looking for groups.

You just gotta find some players who share similar sensibilities. I feel exactly the same way. I love taking time to explore, especially with all the incredible detail in the world this time around. I'm always pulling up the rear in strikes. Add me, psn Traxus12

Ugh it looks like Sweet Business is permanently in the exotic engram weapon pool right now. I just got a dupe and every screenshot I see of people previewing their exotic engram has it.

Everyone in Strikes right now is absolutely busting ass to get ready for the raid/Nightfall. Once more normal players finish the campaign and get to Level 20, I suspect the Strike playlist will be a bit less speed-oriented.

I still think it was a bad idea to make people finish almost the entire campaign before letting players run strikes.

Seriously, though, its so good. Everything about it rocks. All Bungie needs to do is move away from "large version of normal unit" for boss design and they've struck gold.

I wish I could answer, I've done 4 strikes and every one of them was Exodus Crash.
 
I just love the attention to detail spent on adventure missions. They can all pass for strikes. Most of the ones I played were better than the strikes to be honest.
 
Played the beta of the first one and wasn't feeling it that much.

Decided to pick this one up. Let's see if those improvements worked out well.

Edit: Welp, 6 gig patch waiting time.
 
I'm still early in the end game/post-20, but using 10 legendary shards to pull an exotic from the vault is a poor investment, correct? I have a 155 Sunshot that I want to level up, and the vault collection has a 205 that I apparently need 10 legendary shards to grab.

Also, using legendaries to infuse (if available) make a lot more sense than using 4 shards to infuse a rare blue, correct? Is this an overcharge for convenience or something?

Start doing the blue quests at each planet. EDZ, Nessus, and Titan each have one.

Tip: Nessus exotic quest requires you to decrypt 5 legendaries and 1 exotic, EDZ has you dismantle 5 rare/legendary scout rifles, and titan has you complete a nightfall with at least 5 min remaining
