Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

I don't know, I'm finding the Crucible pretty fun. I do think some larger modes should be offered because why not, but the 4v4 forces a kind of play style that caters a bit more to my old ass. It's much more about positioning than it is reflexes.
My KD is phenomenal in this compared to D1, I suck with snipers and shotguns so that's prob why I'm going great now, loving it!!

In other news, I'm bucking the trend and popping engrams as I go along...feels good mang haha.

Just a heads up for those who haven't done it yet.

The community has been suggesting redoing Lost Sectors 10 times for the Strum exotic quest. Don't do that. Just wait for a Glimmer extractor event. Each of the 4 fallen that spawn at each extractor counts as a powerful Fallen.

Much easier and quicker.

Just do the first adventure quest on Nessus. As soon as you start quest, you fight a stealthed fallen yellow bar. Kill him, abandon quest, restart quest. Took me about 5 minutes.

I agree about Exodus Crash, let me say that first.

I think the IDEA, which is a good one, is that the boss disappears and is invisible and to beat it faster you have to spread out and find him. The idea is a good one.

He just teleports too often, however, thus making it tedious even when you do find him....making it easily the worst strike.

Pyramidion is great.

Just do the first adventure quest on Nessus. As soon as you start quest, you fight a stealthed fallen yellow bar. Kill him, abandon quest, restart quest. Took me about 5 minutes.

This is the correct answer

Add me to the Exodus Crash hate train. God it sucks.

Since I can't actually select the strikes I want I've only played that, Inverted Spire, and Arms Dealer.

There's an even faster way to do this. Don't pick up the quest item the enemy drops, and more will constantly respawn from a nearby "fog wall" cave. No need to abandon the activity.

Odd. I'm 278 max, but was 274 when this happened:

Got lucky with the gunsmith and rolled an Exotic energy weapon. However, it's power is at 275 (270 + 5 legendary mod)

Is this the bug people were talking about when you have two of the same class of character?

I just found out that the Tesseract armor, the ship I'm using, and the Borealis sniper that my friend loves are all PS4 exclusives. Man, I'd be super bummed if that stuff wasn't in the game, it's all some of my favorite gear so far.

Okay, that ending lol.

Destiny 3: Kung Pow 2

Is there a chance for a third person perspective? Like a patch.
My girlfriend likes Destiny but always has problems with the first person perspective (motion sickness for example).
You can already play in third person, when activating some Supers, or when running around the Farm.
Is there a good place for leaving feedback, regarding this?

Nameless Midnight is amazing. I actually pick it over MIDA in Pvp it's so good.

Now all I need is a good AR secondary for close-to-mid range.

I'm 90% sure I am going to infuse my Mida into either Nameless Midnight or Call to Serve.

As far as the AR you are looking for, that would be Uriel's Gift.

I also feel that the missions on Titan were pointless filler.
Nothing of consequence happened there and Zavala had no reason to go there, much less stay there. What about the Iron Temple? The Reef? The Farm you end up going to anyway? The Titan portion of the story also ends abruptly with the 'oh btw I somehow know the Cabal have a star-killer aimed at our sun'.

More bonus suggestions; Have anything significant take place on Titan, and maybe when we get to Io add a mission where we have to track down Ikora first.

Each of the three planets have
2-3
missions, which basically amount to
us reconnecting with a Vanguard, learning where the next Vanguard is and getting something to help in the final fight.

Titan -> Reconnect with Zavala, power on the facility, acquire CPU to hack into Red Legion comms. We learn that the Almighty exists. We also learn where Cayde is.
B]Nessus [/B]-> Rescue Cayde, get his Vex teleporter. Learn where Ikora is.
Io -> Learn what Ghaul wants to do with the Light (basically reverse Takenize his troops) and then learn how to stop the Almighty.

The story isn't great. And is full of plotholes or stuff that's ridiculous (
a full assualt to steal a ship to "sneak" in, really?
)

But the story had great characters, and enough of an emotional through-line that it worked for me. I completely get why it doesn't for some people.

is there a video recapping the final destiny expansion? something like the story, anything cool about the gameplay... also I heard that theres a mission that serves as a prologue to D2

It's very very unlikely , but I suppose Bungie's Forums. Heck, even tweet them.

So I have this pretty ballin energy scout rifle and when I go to the destiny app it shows it as classified and it isn't showing an icon for it? Tag line is keep it secret, keep it safe.

Is anybody at the nightfall stage of the
rat king
quest?

We need one more person to try and get it done tonight. PSN is Nothus.

Are you guys complaining about the ninja Fallen strike? The one who disappears after you do so much damage that draws out the fight?

So thanks for all the answers guys.

Another quick question.

All the rep stuff that you do that gives you engrams. Are those locked at 265 now that I've reached 273?

Ive been putting rep stuff into them, but seems somewhat useless for now since they all spit out 265 stuff. I'm assuming that's the max?

Yes its the max. I was always confused as to why people said to hold off on that till 260, just to go up only 5 power levels.

Now that I've got the Rat King, is there any way for me to go back & help others with the quest, or is it literally ONE & done?

It better not be 1 and done. I will need some help in a week or 2 to get it. I hope that as long as the people you are playing with have the exotic it would still count.

At some point they start to scale up, but will be X PL lower than your max.

Also they are good source for gunsmith parts.

I am, but probably not available until 10 pm EST if you can't find someone before then. PSN is Dr_LawyerCop. Could possibly get on earlier but it's doubtful.

It's not entirely useless. You can get 270 gear from those engrams. The gear is technically just 265 gear with a legendary mod in it. You also can get Exotics from token turn ins.

I know, but I haven't gotten that to drop yet :( that'd be my dream combo probably. Together with Merciless for PvE bosses. ATM I use Solemn Hymn which is alright.

The more LL/PL you have the higher then legendary engram. I'm at LL281, all the legendary engrams I get, whether they're drops or from reputation are at least 273.

did u just diss the best track in the game

in the context it's used, yes.

I like it not when its played over that dumb moment

The slow walk totally reminded me of start of ME2 in the attacked Normandy before Shepard is
RIP
.

It's like they took the criticisms about the story and storytelling and decided "lets just do what AAA games are supposed to do I guess" and it seemed stupid as hell.

The set up for everything is pretty good though, just thought that was like they were checking off "mandatory AAA gaming moment" from a list

So it seems like the series more and more sets up the Fallen to be kind of like that annoying neighbor rather than a threat that has to be completely eliminated. I really liked the exotic quest that showed that.
