My friend's mom and a couple of her friends were at this concert tonight. His mom is okay, but one of her friends got shot in the leg. Not life threatening, but still scary as fuck. Everybody's still on lockdown.

Missing the point. I see this taking the direction of talking about fully-automatic weapons which are already heavily regulated, and is a complete misdirection. Given the nature of this shooting, it could not have been prevented the shooter from killing dozen+ people if he instead only had legally-acquired weaponry.
