I'd give Kahn credit. Nearly all of his moves thus far have panned out.

I will say that the Flynn pick may not have been the best, but Rubio is still to be seen (should be good after a year or so over here), and the Wes J pick which seemed to just be safe at the time seems to have been the right choice.
Is there any point guard taken after Flynn you wouldn't rather have over Jonny?

Curry, Jennings, Holiday, Lawson, Collison, even Eric Maynor are all better.

The Wolves had all those guys in, sans Curry (who didn't do a ton of workouts, and didn't workout for Golden State, but they trusted their scouts enough to take him) and Kahn came away thinking Flynn was the guy.

Yeah, I'd agree. Flynn was not a good pick.

Rumor has it though that it could have been for a package for Favors, but that's off of Rubechat so that obviously doesn't mean much.

Again, though, if we get something for him, then at least it wasn't a complete waste.

GS is smanging us right now with that 3pt shot

Defense is terrible thus far, if GS aint getting a wide open 3, then they are getting a wide open lane for a layup.

You mean the thing where the Wolves would have taken James Johnson at 16 and packaged them for Evans? Never bought it for a second. Flynn was always Kahn's guy. That's all that was heard after the big workout, and that rumor came after it was clear Evans was RotY. Kahn trying to rewrite history.

Kevin McHale got 8 more years after Joe Smith. I think Kahn's job is pretty safe.

Edit: Good point brought up by a commenter over at Hoopus. He doesn't come over this year, the Wolves keep his rights, but Flynn is really good. Rubio loses his leverage.

Jonny Flynn seems so pumped to come play for the Wolves. It's amazing. It's why I like him a whole lot already.

.

Stop it wright, just stop it.

Dorell is embarrassing Miami, we look like crap right now.

I thought the game would be close, not a blow out.

Man, the heat must've had a huge NYE party, because there is no effort there. Not that the warriors look like they're playing that much harder, but as they're in front, they're rolling with it.

I miss amundson, he's on dimensional, but he makes the W's inside D, well, look like it exists.

Hey, I won't back down from that. I said before the draft that I liked Flynn a lot and hoped we could come away with Flynn and some 2 guard, hopefully Harden. Mistakes were made.

I also said last year's team could win 25-30 games if everything went right. Then I saw them play.

My god... I can't wait for Mike Beasley to play against the Heat if that's the kind of performances ex-Heat players can get against them...

Loving it.

So there was no way the Heat could have kept Beasley and Wright instead of bringing Miller and some? I can't remember in what order everything happened...

It's pretty easy to run up the tab when your defender is in lah-lah land.

Our defense is atrocious. Uncontested dunks and three's left and (Wright). Lebron is in dreamland.

Warriors are shooting 10-14 on three pointers.

We aren't even playing that poorly on offense.

Carlos Arroyo is 3-3 from 3 pt land and we're still getting our asses kicked :lol

When I come back I hope to see a Warriors choke but...god damn.

There 3pt% is gonna fall down, but we aint going to make any sort of comeback unless we can stop those easy layups they are getting.

Heat boys were out fuckin hos last night that's all this is.

Warriors got 70 pts at half? yeh. :lol :lol

GS will choke it away though.

We just had the best December ever in franchise history. :lol

I know your kidding, but jeez.

If LeBron wakes up from his hangover in the second half, I think we have a decent shot.

The amount of Wide open looks Wright got just pisses me off, it is obvious that the dude can shoot so why the hell is everybody reluctant to try and run him off the line. And lets not forget the wide open layups they are getting.

Our offense is fine so far, but somebody must of spiked the punch in Miami because nobody is trying on defense.

Welp, here is a toast to our defense getting over their hangover in the 2nd half.
