4-7 and I ain't even mad though

(i'm very mad)

(thank you lakers for not fucking this up for me)

(3-8 would have been much more shameful)

(4-7 is like...Bobcats bad)

(but its not Raptors bad)

(and thats something I can live with)

45 seconds left. 5 point game. Vince just fucking around, having a laugh with his good bud Kobe.

eh.. Lakers didn't play like ass tonight at all. Phoenix just played well enough to keep it close.
Every time I watch the Lakers, I can't tell if Fisher helps you or hurts you more.

Lakers took plenty of defensive plays off and played extremely lazy on D.

They did just enough tonight to get a win.

I'm not proud of how they played, but these days, I just take the W.

Watching the game replay on espn 3 right now. New tv and AVR are in my room so I was all set to enjoy some HD Lakers but I dozed off and just woke up :lol At least thje replay is in HD :D

Random thoughs:

- Am I overrating Rondo cos Fish sux so bad? Dude is amazing
- Ray always chokes on clutch fts
- Cavs are horrific. Maybe that homeless guy can suit up for them?
- Jazz lost too. Nice :)

They definitely had a lot of defensive lapses. But the silver lining is that they kept the Suns under the century mark. You don't do that by not playing serviceable D.

We also managed to keep our TO's down again for a change.

I don't know what you were expecting on a B2B on the road against a team that wants to beat you more than anyone else. It's nothing to toot your horn about, but it's still a quality win.

If Rondo can develop a consistent outside shot, he'll be an instant HoFer. Rondo is probably the best facilitator among the new group of PGs and the best defender. Yeah isn't much of a scorer, but when you have Ray Ray, Pierce, and Garnett on your team, the ball should be going to them the majority of the time anyway.

Also, the way defenders have been sagging off Rondo has actually helped his play-making. It allows him to run the offense with almost zero pressure and just rack up assists.

But as the Big 3 start to fade, Rondo is going to have to be able to put some of the scoring load on his shoulders.
