I do agree that NeoGaf is a news generator, reason why I signed up :messenger_heart:

However, I have just looked for, for curiosity's sake, the term "11.6tf" or even "11.6" and I have found nothing relevant before December 2019.

Can you please provide a post of somebody talking about a 11.6tf PS5 before 22/03/2019 when Foxy Games uploaded the 11.6tf PS5 youtube video ?

I dont know if you have checked but this thread started on 12/05/2019...

PS: Just to add that I personally dislike that channel since I watched one of its stupid videos but I am just pointing out a fact ;)

To be fair, after somebody mentioned him here I looked him up. Over the last year his numbers have been all over the place depending on the rumour of the day, from low all the way to 13.3. He's hardly stuck with a single number.

Newest gdk is taller and black it is also running at around the number I previously posted. It is also cool and whisper quiet.

never heard of one crashing but I do know that they were very loud and very hot so I can believe this could have happened with the first units.

As far as official news be patient. I said to pay attention to the world news when codiv-19 first hit. News has been ready but the timing is horrible. No one is saying anything about any dates because everything is in flux and anyone that gives a concrete date right now is blatantly lying. (Unless it's Sony) I have a lot to say about the current state of rumors but I'm holding my tongue, for now.

I mentioned it a week ago or so but I am surprised these black ones have not leaked yet.

While I haven't heard of the silver ones crashing it also doesn't shock me as these things did indeed run super hot and sound like a hair dryer trying to stay cool.

The black ones seem to be nearing a final form factor close to a retail product.

All my guesses of course.

Sony sucked so bad with there news policy and now they are behind n losing attention. I hope that will be a lesson for them

Now see that conflicts with what I heard but (hear me out) nothing was mentioned on scale. So it could be possible that a different black DK (which I assumed was a final DK form) is the same size as the old, and thus continues the older "issues", but possibly if you're saying larger that would explain why they are also cooler. Makes sense to me. Also heard nothing new, at all, about speeds. Interesting............ When did you hear this info?

Remember Sony DevKits trend to have only RAM bigger than retail machine... CPU, GPU, clocks are all the same in the previous generation DevKits compared with retail machine.

Have you watched the video? He himself is talking about leaks and he mentioned that in the video. GAF or Reddit or wherever he read it from. Uploading a YouTube video and pretending to be an insider doesn't make you one.
 
I hope Sony doesn't stick to the traditional form factor of consoles, just to appeace to the design crowd. who the fuck gives a flying damn about the look of the console. For all I care it could be a PC tower

It's funny you should say that, because a lot of people have been slagging MS off for their large tower design. I'm not sure what size they expect the PS5 to be, exactly... But I'm sure there will be some upset puppies moving the goalposts.
 
So the GitHub leaks have PROVEN to be OUTDATED! We told you guys, all of them were pre-productions, here come the damage control.

Off-topic, I got around 1300 replies and hundreds of quote-tweets about me comparing Animal Crossing VS The Last of Us 2 the amount of work differences between these 2 games and oh man, the amount of hate I got LMAO for stating facts LMAO!!

Silver was certainly not 11.6 in a few cases I've talked about, thats sure. I'm not so sure this new one is over 11.6 either, just going to throw my cards on the table. I'm confident in that, as are a couple of people with them in hand. I'll throw a few messages out there and see.

Sony is a consumer electronics company at its core. The PS5 should mesh with my entertainment shelf. I don't care about the form factor, but it should be elegant and subtle (more PS4 and less PS3, my lord that was bad)

By saying I'm "upset" you're instantly putting a spin on things. Let me guess, because he said it's higher than the SX? That shit doesn't matter to me, which I've repeated many times.

What does matter to me is when information conflicts I want to know WHY. If he's got info on a new DK, that's fine... but I want to know why change of spec, why it's suddenly quiet, and why it's now larger on height (when the older DK was already a controller high).

I would rather we narrow stuff down, than make more conflicts. I couldn't care who is right, or faster. But I have a personal stake in this with my own info, so if my own info from a first party source doesn't check out I want to know what the deal is.

I dont know how many times do I need to repeat it. I just pointed out a FACT: 11.6tf PS5 is old news, coming from the beginning of 2019.

I just linked his video because I recalled that number 11.6 from the last year.

From where he got that number, info or fake news is another question, but after checking, it it wasnt from here. That is all what I say, man.

I never cared for the design of any console. Maybe I am a rare breed. My PC for example doesn't have a single RGB component. That is a rarity these days ;D

I like and share the excitement, but the Series X isn't anything to scoff at. It's a beast, like the PS5, and only good things will come for both consoles because of it.

I see this as an absolute win for both MS and Sony, as well their fans.

I'm not saying you're not legit but your bias is to strong. In a previous post the way you talked about PS5 dev kits almost like Sony guys are a bunch of incompetents ( in a very subliminal way off course) and then proceeding talking about SEX like it was a state of the art machine very quiet, head room to spare, etc... is all to evident..

And that of course that take credibility regarding what you say because your preferences are to obvious in the way you paint things... you're subtle but not that subtle.

But will see in the end ;)

Odium never claimed not being a fan. And for a X-Box fan, he's being really generous and honest with his PS predictions … unlike some fans from the other side of the fence … (NOTE: fans, not insiders)
