It's happening! Just a week to go. Next-Gen is starting to heat up and I'm ready for it. We need to see lots of games, I hope they overload us with them. I know it was rumored that Xbox would have more than one event, so I don't know if we will get a ton of new games shown or not, maybe they hold some back to counter Sony after they have theirs. I kind of wishes this would be a huge event like E3.

The entire event is a showcase of 3rd party games running on next generation hardware. They've said as much. Still going to be incredible though.

My guess is to come out first and then have the main even(1st party,Lockhart,pricing,studio acquisitions? etc)AFTER Sonys main event this time around. To get Sony to blink first on pricing so MS price accordingly.

I think it's smart to hold off on first party. Give a taste with third party. Sony has an event in June? They still haven't even revealed the console yet and look how much attention just thier controller ate up. Get that out of the way and then let first party and new Halo shine.

Yeah, they've been very on-point with their messaging. I still have some reservations about Lockhart but in regards to just Series X, I've been very impressed. And it seems they will keep their ship sailing on the right path.

Definitely. Even just the native 4k with maxed out settings/extra effects and details, higher quality textures, these should be apparent, I would hope
