Why the hell was the Xbox Showcase thread locked during the preshow..? Seems like the perfect place to discuss, you know, the Xbox showcase, without shitting up the OT.
 
I don't think there's been a single one of these in the last couple years that I wasn't disappointed in or bored by.

They really are a chore to sit through. Bring back the old days of E3.

Good friend who I haven't seen in a while finally finished moving in to his new place. He's getting off work early and his wife is taking the kids out so that he can invite me over to test drive his new living room gaming setup and talk about today's Xbox video (not sure how enthused he's gonna be about that though, considering what was shown lol)

Life is good. I hope yours is too.

edit: I will also introduce him to the wonders of PC gaming and blow his nuts off.

Still dying for nicotine. Drinking shitty coffee and trying out games I own but haven't touched yet.

Titanfall 2 is pretty fun so far.
Farcry 4, I like it less than 5 so far because of the setting and the way the menus look, but it's decent fun like any of them.
Downloaded Nioh, will try later.

Its just i hate the way the next gen thread is used like its the official Sony thread. If they want to do that shit then take it to the right thread, and leave the next gen speculation thread for people that want to talk next gen. Its impossible at the minute.

As someone who never played a Halo game outside of 1 for the PC many years ago, and takes no part in console warring despite generally preferring PS stuff, I watched that Halo video today and I thought it looked fun, I had no idea it was going to be received like this. People are obsessed about graphics, some things never change.

A next gen game that looks like it could've been a 360 launch title. People were expecting to be blown away and they got a game that looked like it could've came out 15 years ago.
