I like it. It will probably be laying flat all the time anyway. I can get over the look of it, since I've lived through the NES, SNES, Genesis, Atari Toilet era. Most kids these days are going to put stupid energy drink stickers all over it.

My predictions have always been $300 and $500 for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. I believe that Microsoft will wait and either match PS5 at $500 or if it's $600, undercut them by $100. Series S can lose money because digital only means that Microsoft will easily make it up within a few purchases just by third parties alone.
PlayStation 5 is going to be a great console but Sony went "overkill" with the SSD which jacked up the price for them. Add in the cooling system and that liquid metal or whatever it's called and it's very expensive to produce. I do see Sony going $500 and $600 because they want to lose as little money as possible and they really want everyone to buy digital because they can slowly eliminate physical. Same for Microsoft too.

If it's really USD$299 for a legit next gen console I don't think people should be caring what it looks like. It's basically a One S All Digital but with a black fan vent on the top.
Well they can't just suddenly become a bigger brand name with a bigger brand following than Playstation, so they have to start somewhere, and Price is a great start.

How isn't it? It's a legit next gen console that plays next gen games, and it's cheaper than the current One X and almost as cheap as the current base consoles.
For those without a 4K TV this is all you'll need, and is a cheap way to get a secondary console. This would be a great way for those that couldn't afford both to now potentially do so.

The One X is pretty much bang on double the size of a controller btw. This looks maybe a bit less deep than the One X, but pretty much the same size.

As for that giant speaker design, looks weird and out of place. Maybe it was to differentiate away from SeX, so people don't get confused when SeX has a white model in the future.
