What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

This. Screw Target. I am so irritated with them right now. I had no updates on XSX and reached out to them to find out when it would ship. The first person actually told me that it had been changed to store pickup and I would receive an email on launch day with instructions.

It sounded suspicious so I called the local store and they said they weren't aware that anything like that was happening. Call back and talked to a supervisor, said I was misinformed and couldn't give me an expected shipping day. Last night it said arriving Nov 15th...still no shipping or charge yet.

Would love to find one somewhere else and just return it, but with limited stock I am sure it won't sit long. Make them pay postage twice at least.

I managed to get a 3080 on Thursday and in a stupid act of stupidity, I canceled my pre-order with Shopto for the PS5 Disc and Pulse Headsets that I had on day one.
Today, I regret that choice.
 
my mate has been charged and his has changed to dispatched where as mine hasn't and we got our orders minutes apart. mine still says arriving before 8pm tomorrow both on Amazon

edit: update the money has just come out of the account

No update from Amazon on a delivery date for Series X. Haven't charged me either. :( Looks like my launch preorder wont be make launch. Obviously disappointed. Wont make the mistake of trusting Amazon for a preorder again.

they never let me down in the past, i am in the same boat as you RN, lets wait and see, chances are they can still send them out today for us to get it tomorrow...

Man I'm gonna have to get up early as hell to go get my series x. Why is best buy only allowing appointments from 6am to 9am? This feels like it's gonna be a disaster.
 
My PS5 order has shipped with a tracking number. Series X is still prepping according to Amazon. Im going to be very annoyed if the PS5 arrives before the Series. Ordering from Sony direct was as seamless as any online order ive ever had.
 
Microsoft marked my Series X as shipped but UPS maintain that they've "printed the label" and will update when they receive the package. In fairness it's the exact same situation with the Elite 2 i returned for a warranty repair, it's been "despatched" since the 6th of November and UPS say the exact same thing.

So, either the bloke MS sent to the UPS depot got lost and ended up hammered face-down in a ditch somewhere, or the UPS tracking system is shite.

I complained to customer service about a one week late delivery date, and I took the day off work since Target promised they would deliver the day of or right afterward... I took the 10-11th off, and not getting delivered till the following week on the 16th... a whole week later (yes i was a 9:04 pre-order on the 22nd of September).
 
Just had a text of Argos saying S is coming tomorrow, no mention of my X yet the barstools.
Just checked my Bank account and Amazon have taken money so I got a X coming as well but Argos took money for X and S on pre order day.

Nope. Rumor is they shipping on launch day

you can make a fedex account and see what is being delivered. I had a label show up finally. But no charge or movement

People were saing before that Microsoft were shipping but having UPS delay delivery to release date. Might have something to do with it looking weird.
 
i bought from Target. i got a "Preparing to ship: scheduled to arrive Wed, Nov 18" update on Demon's but not on PS5. i ended up ordering them separately.

my PS5 just says "preordered" so im crossing my fingers. Demon's i ordered on Sept 18, the console i ordered on the 16th. yet the game is shipping first apparently. kinda weird.

Its looking more like late November to December to get ours.
 
I envy all you who got their PS5 preorders through.
It's still unclear if i will get one, as the place I preordered at doesnt even know if they will get any.

Still not a peep from Amazon UK, though the order says 'arriving tomorrow' there has been no money taken and the item has not entered despatch.

Forgive me for now being sceptical that the XSX will arrive with me tomorrow here in Northern Ireland from mainland UK (though I will be pleasantly surprised if it does).

And just like that, Amazon UK have taken the money. I note that delivery is listed as 'premium delivery' so I guess all bets are off now as to whether tomorrow is the day or not!

Xbox preorder just updated. Seems it shipped yesterday despite updating now.
I suspect Ps5 amazon will see a similar update Wednesday.

No updates on Target Preorder

BestBuy: I have the ability to schedule a time to pickup before normal store hours or just do normal curbside pickup.

MS Store: have FedEx tracking information.

Tomorrow I will have 2 XSX in my house :D (one is for a co-worker who was unable to secure one)
