So glad to be wrong. That GameSpot review was brutal. Mediocre game with a shiny paint. You're not a famous studio or long standing franchise, you need to hit week1 like crazy. I bet they have plan for features currently in work with Games as a Service.

LOL so my guess that when it comes to Xbox in 6 months it will do so as a straight to gamepass title will probably be right.

Sort of feels like their big marketing strategy backfired. Can't help but think that the overall reaction to this game would have been slightly more positive if it had just been a new multiplatform IP by a small and lesser known studio instead of "DAH FIRST PS5 EXCLUUUUSIVEEE", it put them in the sort of spotlight that the quality of their game just couldn't keep up with.

It hardly matters if it's 50 , 60 or 70 pounds - it would be shit at any of those price points.

Yeah everyone was like: "omg godfall looks amazing and truly next gen! Dayum!" And I was like "Eh sure it looks good on the trailers but what about the gameplay?"

Clearly this launch wasn't the best of all time.

It was just better that Xbox series X, which is ultimately all that matters right now.
