You can get it again.I had COVID. I obviously am not at risk of dying from it.
What the hell is my advantage of taking it? No one can explain why.
I am not advocating for the MRNA vaccines. I won't touch those.

Don't blame them and just goes to show you if they don't take it what they aren't telling us about the vaccine.
Two years ago on the wedding of one of my best friends was a really pretty girl in a wheelchair.Well okay, but it's just a really small number, maybe I was thinking small pox? Not sure now...
I obviously fucked up the name of disease afterall, when you know something in your language and translate that to English, sometimes you fucked up.Two years ago on the wedding of one of my best friends was a really pretty girl in a wheelchair.
Her parents were anti vaxxers..
Polio is definitely still around.
Ah, sorry, should have read the following posts before posting myself... ; )I obviously fucked up the name of disease afterall, when you know something in your language and translate that to English, sometimes you fucked up.
Haha, yeah, the narrative is gonna go from heroes to egotistic pieces of shit so quickly it won't be nice to watch.I wonder how the media is going to portray this, since they spent the past year basically saying nurses are living gods, writing stories about how we failed them when we refused to do what King Fauci said, and how anyone who refuses the vaccine is a redneck retard.
Smallpox eradication took decades of massive global efforts, and for polio it is still ongoing. These are also diseases that are so self-evidently horrible that I doubt you'd find many people who would refuse the vaccine.
The big issue, the core issue, is that our society went ape shit over something that isn't a big deal, and people are drawing a line when it comes to injecting some untested beta vaccine into their body, understandably.
How do you know those are the same people? I'd assume people who are scared shitless of COVID would be the first ones to take the vaccine. It's hilarious and sad at the same time how a lot of people are scared shitless of COVID, much more than the numbers would require, but those same people are hesitant about taking the shot while at the same time they want all healthcare personnel to take it. And I think we will see sanctions against reluctant doctors and nurses in the near future, because scared people need a scapegoat and they will turn on yesterday's "heroes" with a little push from MSM.
This is why I fear anti-vaxx shit. India is free of polio after a massive vaccination campaign. We went from one of the worst hit to polio free due to the campaign. Gladly there is no such antivaxx stuff here and I doubt there would be.Two years ago on the wedding of one of my best friends was a really pretty girl in a wheelchair.

What about healthcare workers who live with mom and dad?myself included, and I've been balls deep on the front line since the beginning
because,
1. we don't know if it prevents transmission
2. we don't know if this will be a yearly thing like the flu (no thanks, I am not 65+ and my life is not at risk.)
3. I don't want to feel sickly for even half a day, pathetic I know
I feel like people over 65 should have been first priority here, not health care workers. maybe health care workers above 50 or something
Because I know a few.How do you know those are the same people? I'd assume people who are scared shitless of COVID would be the first ones to take the vaccine.
If you're right then we can just open the economy back up and go back to normal. Those of us who are vaccinated have nothing to worry about. Those of you who continue to get sick and die have no one but yourselves to blamethis isn't going to work in the US since 3 out of 4 people need to take it. Maybe one day, but not anytime soon

I ain't bringing this shit home and killing my parents. My RN buddy who's my age (in his 20s) just got it. He's fine of course but his mom caught it from him and just died.
I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I gave it to them and something happened.
One more shot to go for me.
Too many people are going to avoid these vaccines for them to be effective. Not going near that shit

Yep. I'm in healthcare, and it's really just playing out along political lines like everyone else.yes you can believe all of that and become an RN or MD

Seriously, after being balls deep in the front line for almost a year, I imagine a lot of health care workers can safely assume they have some level of immunity.
In the case of my wife, we just got over COVID in November and she's due in about 3 weeks so we figure there's no need to get the vaccine until she's had the baby. It's probably totally fine but with the assumption she's still got immunity and everything it seems like waiting a couple weeks in no big deal. I wonder if she'd be counted in the 40% for delaying a bit
Damn, J.D. is gonna get the vaccine first?!It was just announced here that ER medical staff will get it here first, with other medical staff to follow after.
Seems that ill be up for the count then. Ill report back if i haven't mutated yet.
YupHow do you know those are the same people? I'd assume people who are scared shitless of COVID would be the first ones to take the vaccine.
Damn, J.D. is gonna get the vaccine first?!
I'd kill to have a new season of Scrubs based on the CoViD pandemic
Somehow, your friends seems a lot more saner than you right nowI'll take the vaccine asap even if the side effect means a penis growing out of my forehead.
Somehow, your friends seems a lot more saner than you right now![]()
I just can't wait for life to go back to normal. A life without wearing masks, social distancing and able to travel without worries. I want to be able to attend parties and concerts again. And I'm also really sad to see businesses closing down due to Covid.
You sound like a reetard, no offense.Get ready to take the damn vaccine you flat earther, 5G-tower knocking micro-penis conspiracist freaks
You must be all of those things I saidYou sound like a reetard, no offense.
Ok reetard. You must be all of those things I said![]()
I know for a fact that, in some countries at least, they don't.Yep. I'm in healthcare, and it's really just playing out along political lines like everyone else.
In nursing school you don't learn anything about the details of vaccine physiology. I don't know if even doctors actually learn that in detail. It's pretty much specialists and biochemical researchers that actually design these things.
All you're getting from a random healthcare worker is going to be their impressions based on the internet, and the same disinformation mixture everyone else is dealing with.
Well then you should be concerned about the messaging coming from King Fauci and the rest of the medical bureaucrats these days then.I just can't wait for life to go back to normal. A life without wearing masks, social distancing and able to travel without worries. I want to be able to attend parties and concerts again. And I'm also really sad to see businesses closing down due to Covid.
That's where you're wrong dude. No vaccine has 100% efficacy, and you can't actually verify whether or not it worked, and we also don't know for sure if any of these vaccines block transmissibility to others, so you should be prepared to keep that mask on and continue social distancing and Staying Home to Save Lives for the foreseeable future, vaccine or not. According to the experts and policy makers, at least!
There is nothing from this century that had any serious harm, brother. Ofcourse the regulatory commissions have improved a lot since.
Ppl keep forgetting we are able to get a rocket to the moon in just 4 years just so we can beat the Russians. Why are so many of you so afraid of the vaccine? They have been through the same tests that every other vaccine needs to pass to get accepted by the FDA and EMA (Europe). Yes they have been developed very quick compared to other vaccines but have you taken into consideration that the companies and universities have received millions by governments to complete these vaccines as fast as possible? Litterally all other projects has been put aside in these companies as top priorities so researc and create these and of course FDA and EMA puts them ahead of the line when its time to validate the results of phase 1, 2 and 3. Normally it takes a very long time to complete the phase 1, 2 and 3 approvals with the FDA and EMA because there is ALOT of products every year that needs to be validated and assesed. Of course the vaccines gets through quicker because we are in a middle of a pandemic...
Yes if you are young and healthy it is not as important to get the vaccine because it's mainly older men and women who gets very sick from COVID but there is still cases where younger people get very sick or even dies.
I really don't understand the skeptism regarding the vaccine.
