Yes. Gamestop can sell it shares gradually if they play smart and get out of the debt. Long time future is uncertain though. There is simply no future for physical game stores
Yeah right. Every time I see this stupid comment, I can't help but laugh. It's that stupid.
DVD/Blu-ray/etc. continue to stand the test of time, as do CD's, books, and other physical media. So that is a factor, and the other factor is if you can't find it at best buy, walmart, etc. where exactly are you going to go? Hmm, well I would imagine a retail store. Just because eBay, amazon, etc. exist doesn't mean gamestop is done with. Most the time the prices on eBay and Amazon are astronomical versus prices at GameStop. Gamestop consistently has sales on used games, whether it's B2G2 under $30, 50% off $19.99 or $29.99 and under games, or their website coupon that takes 16% off.
