Brad Pitt wins joint custody

I have some friends going through a divorce right now and the wife doesn't want to share custody. It is bonkers to me. Took 2 to make them, be glad the dad wants to be involved.
 
It's not a victory when a father gets joint custody of his kids. The fact anyone thinks it is shows just how low fathers are thought of in the west.
 
She's BPD - borderline personality disorder. Win at all costs, discredit the referees (judge, in this example) and demand a new match (trial). Judge saw this, awarded Pitt joint custody. The kids will need decades of therapy, if they ever realize what they've gone through. Best of luck.

Despite the sealed court records, the actions sufficiently demonstrate her mental state and behavior. Wanting Angelina? Buyer beware.

just came to mind why full custody is sought so aggressively then thought it must be about money. Does full custody mean you get a larger share of child support?

It is more about established practice, than anything else.
The problem is universal though and some countries even have political movements started by divorced men who ran into such issues.

It's not even that yet.
She will appeal on the "wasn't granted fair trial" bases, attacking the judge.

Exact same thing with my buddy, only his wife literally left the state with his two boys and his girl, and she holds contact with them hostage. If she's pissed at him, he doesn't get to hear his children's voices or see their face that week.

I won't say what I would do that horrible fucking cu-.......person. You don't keep someone from their kids. Period.

The irony is that they do all that and then she'll be complaining about how hard it is being a single mum and having to raise the kids all on her own.

They do it for no reason other than to be spiteful and then when the reality hits home they complain non-stop about it.

Half of them are adopted. So they get none of the (possibly?) good genes and all the mental baggage. Then again mental illness is hereditary so they might have dodged some bullets there.

To explain this further for anyone that's confused. Child support is calculated based on the number of nights the parent has them. So, if you have the kids on weekends you pay 5/7 child support instead of 7/7 child support. I think the fight is often more about the emotional abuse involved. If you can see your children 2 days a week, you might be cool with the situation. If you literally had to beg your ex to see them on any given occasion, that gives her a lot of power. I think money is a factor in these arguments/disagreements, but I think it's just as much a factor that sole custody over the kids is a big deal. Imagine if you had kids and you never got to see them even though you wanted to, that would hurt.

I've heard first hand accounts of ex wifes getting custody of the kids and then as soon as child support is no longer needed to be paid because the kids reached 18 its, "Well, I've looked after them for 18 years now it's your (The dads) turn".
 
Crypt keeper billy bob rolling over in his grave laughing away... he got the best years of the crazy pussy and ain't attached to her till his kids are 18 like poor brad... they call this winning?
