Did some long overdue painting yesterday, and reminded myself that I might be too much of a perfectionist when I do it. Even when I don’t need to be, I can’t help it. I do love a clean coat of paint, though. It’s the little things in life.

How much time of your day of meetings is well spent? I always wonder how much is an utter waste of time

Depends on the day but meetings are mostly beneficial for me. If the meeting lacks substance, I just don't go to those meetings. I work on projects for most of my work, so those ones are critical and the ones I always prioritize.

I had a bunch of things cancelled so my morning is suddenly wide open for the most part. I'll squeeze in a work out after my second cup of coffee.

Sounds like you have some freedom to get on with your job, I bet that saves some aggro when you just want to get on with it.
