Soul Hackers 2 New Trailer

I hope it's good. From what I understand, this is going to be it's own new series, just like they did with Persona. So, SMT, Persona, and Soul Hackers.

Looks like a budget Persona, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'll be picking it up.

Looks pretty dated, low poly characters with rather low res textures.

But the game itself seems fun
Atlus never go high tech with their games, just like Persona 5 they PS3 games releasing on PS4/5, but I personally digging its visual design and aesthetics so I'm fine with it.

Not as good as Arise but still good.
Tale of Arise is not really cell shaded, its more like oil painted.

I wouldn't mind the Falcom games using that shader.

I like the demons animation - but the human characters do seem to act rather stiff and the main character animations haven't really progressed over the years that much.
The cartoon style, and knowing this is a game helps to buffer that awkwardness a bit - but after seeing some in-game cut-scenes in near Anime like qualities on several other games like Arise - I would love to see Atlus spending some more R&D in that department.

And ditto with Falcom games... but I kinda gave up hope on that end LOL!

Very happy this is coming to Xbox, this will be my first Atlus game since Catherine.

Don't know what the hell is happening in that trailer but I'm down for it.

Visual are lacking like in most atlus games but that doesn't matter to much cause this game will probably be real good (I'm hoping)

Game feels worse than P5, or is it just me?
It won't be as good as P5 based on the development team and it probably doesn't have the same budget but it will still be a great game. It's meant to be different but similar to Persona and tide you over till P6 or PReF is out.

This looks like the work of an enemy stand vibe at the beginning.

I'd have bought it without another trailer. Atlus rarely misses.

Some direct feed gameplay.

I've grown more used to the art style. Looks pretty cool actually. And the gameplay is what I'd want from a turn based jrpg.

Shirow Miwa's artsyle is pretty damn good and fits the tone they are going for.

Honestly the ingame style reminds me of Dohna Dohna...

Which had one of the sickest UI's with great transitions... Of course never playing these sort of games I would never know that...

But man this looks great.
