Wrasslin' Thread 20XX |OT| New Age WrestleGAF

Fuck neck breaks are always scary.

Probably the worst injury in the sport and there have been a lot of them.
No doubt, I mean after La Parka, Hayabusa, Misawa, and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo you know they're just scary as hell.

The worst part is they happen off innocent stuff. Like when the Steiners broke Buffs neck.

It was just unfortunate.

Others you know you are risking it, like Owen vs Austin.

Watched that clip a couple times, can't tell if this is Holland still being green as shit, or if this is a spot that a dude of Big Es size shouldn't be doing. I always thought he'd badly hurt himself with the spear through the ropes spot. Sometimes you need to leave the flippy shit to the smaller flippy guys. Hope he has a full recovery, but I worry about the speed dudes are getting called up without the experience to do these things.

I know nothing about the Briscoes, but just seeing their look and demeanor I can't say they seem like a team I'd give a shit about, and AEW has enough teams....hell there are too many teams that are better off as solos being put in the division to get more tv time.

The weirdest part was Impact running an "Impact at 60" of the best of Scott Hall last week. (I didn't even remember him being in it.)

It looks like Scott Hall isn't going to make it.

Sad Michael Scott GIF

If he could have killed his demons earlier I don't see why he couldn't have been one of the biggest ever. He had it all. Still had a hell of a career and will long be remembered longer than most currently working.

Oh this is shit. Sorry, err Saray just lost because she couldn't transform for her match. Wow, that sounds just as stupid when I just wrote it as when I saw it.

Long story short, Tony Khan realized he'd hired Joey Janela
I actually liked his 80's cheese gimmick but feel like I only ever saw him in the first few months of AEW before he permanently became a wrestler on Dark which I never watch.

Would be shocked if WWE picked him up though, he doesn't seem to have much traction as is

He's a no talent indy guy they grabbed when they started. They've outgrown him and WWE dumped so many talented people they can pick up. AEW also likes to save hardcore stuff for feuds now instead of just a match type.

That belt needs to go back on DMD. Hell of a finish though.
Happy for Thunder Rosa though I'm not really a fan of anything she does. Britt is so great on mic having her with the belt takes too much shine from the rest of the division which is lacking.

Problem with the women is where do they go from here? Who steps up? I'm sorry but Statlanders gimmick I never want to see. I'm guessing it's Serena Deeb or Hikaru Shida.

They can all step up while chasing the other belt. Give them some tag gold too. DMD is the only star right now IMO.
