According to Bloomberg, God of War Ragnarok game is currently planned to be released in November.

A recent report from the European gaming website GameReactor, combined with the game's absence at big industry events such as the Summer Games Fest and Sony's own State of Play, led to speculation that God of War Ragnarok wouldn't be out until 2023.

No dates are certain in the turbulent world of game development and it may still be delayed again. But as of this week it's still on track for November, the people said, asking to not be identified discussing information that isn't public.

🤔

Bloomberg? It's still just Jason who already said that yesterday and also hedged. It's not a new source

No, it isn't. But, according to the article, it was planned as a September release and was delayed "internally" to November. Still, if the mods wanna delete this post to avoid cluster, it's all good

There's a month now (November), I don't think that was said before.

The snippets of the article that are floating around are basically just Jason reconfirming what he asked his sources in that thread on Era.

There's nothing official here, so it could be true, or it could not, we can't say for sure.

Still a 2022 title as of now.

Its Jason. Yes we can know for sure

These fuckers are REALLY tuned in now lol

God of War Ragnarök will be megaton, but what's with prying devs incessantly for release dates? We know it's coming.

November would be good, but I really wouldn't have an issue if it was pushed to Jan-Mar 23, with Forspoken and TLOUR due this year, plus some other decent looking third party games, including Callisto Protocol, Harry Potter and MW2. Lots of great games to look forward to.

So probably they had the game ready to release it in September but decided to give it a couple of months and release TLOUR instead.

I assume it may be related with them solving the chips shortage and now knowing they will be able to sell a lot of consoles this year: maybe for GoWR they want to have a bigger amount of consoles in the market and for TLOUR they don't see it that important.

Seems that their plan is TLOUR September, Forspoken October, GoWR November, Little Devil Inside December plus support from 3rd parties like Avatar, Howgarts Legacy, CoW MWII, NBA, FIFA and so on. And then for early 2023 PSVR2, 3rd party stuff like RE4R and maybe Spider-Man 2 and SF6. Very solid output for the rest of the fiscal year.

I think it's hilarious that Sony hasn't even come out to be like, "2022." I mean, you don't have to give the date earlier than your original marketing plans, but some of these folks are having panic attacks, lmao.

Riiiight because one is only releasing on ps5 while the other is ps4 and ps5. For gow2 they already have a ton of consoles in the market... it's releasing on ps4 too!! If that is your argument why wouldn't Sony release gow2 first since it has the larger console base? Release tlou later to give time to sell more ps5s.,..
