• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

According to Bloomberg, God of War Ragnarok game is currently planned to be released in November.

Whenever it does release, looking forward to it. GoW 2018 had amazing combat and great environments, and arguably the most human story of any GoW entry yet.

But the world (as beautiful as it was) felt kind of empty, and enemy variety (including bosses) was really lacking. Well, that's when you weren't getting wrecked by the massively imbalanced optional Valkyrie bosses.

If they address those shortcomings from the first game, this second entry could be one of the best games of this generation, easily.

11.11.22 would be funny but I don't care - SM should release it right first time, with good polish so there's no need for major patches (minor patches are fine).

This game will get me to buy a PS5 earlier than I planned.

(Still hoping for definitive news of a PS5 Pro, if so I'll wait longer).

Bloomberg? It's still just Jason who already said that yesterday and also hedged. It's not a new source

One is him just jumping on Twitter and relaying what whispers he's heard, the other is an actual product from BLOOMBERG that went through (presumably) an editorial process and they are comfortable releasing it. It might be the same information but it has a bit more weight behind it now.

Considering MS considers this year as between now and next June, as long as GOWR is release before next June, can we still say it released this year? 😂

Well Jason heard it from two sources with first hand information while IGN claims their sources said the same thing.

So far I'm not really seeing these types of sources confirming a delay. While it is possible I'm assuming it's not distributed throughout the dev yet if true.

The 2022 boys now quadrupled down on the date, taunting everyone who isn't team 2022. Would be hilarious if it slipped to 2023.

It's confirmed to be November. And we will get the date by end of this month. Sorry to burst it to you. Team 2023 was nice knowing those avatars.

I mean, is it as bad as Team 2023 claiming victory based on a suspect ass rumor from some website not known for credible info?

For the past few years, some of yall do this to yourselves, instead of acting...calm and reasonable....

1.Planned ≠ Reality.
2. Hypothetical question: God of War Ragnarok is realising this year and is Game of The Generation only if you suck Jason's Dickyry-Dick....Would you do it?

'Team 2022' ffs 😄
You can almost smell the desperation coming off this post.
Imagine being this salty over a game not getting delayed. A game that you have no interest on and on a platform you don't care about lmao.

Some of you should go out for a bit

This is how I imagine you typing this response…

I'm team 2022, try again :messenger_beaming:

Are we still pretending he doesn't have great sources?
You guys made fun of him when he leaked TLOU remake a year ago as well and here we are lol
I don't deny that. HOWEVER Jason even hedges and said the game could slip to 2023. It's not a lock. I still think it'll slip

Its Jason. Yes we can know for sure
Well actually he says that gow is not postponed and at the same time that it is postponed. it's like schrödinger's cat

Despite widespread rumors, Sony's God of War Ragnarok was not delayed to 2023...Video game development is turbulent and the game could very well slip again

Is a win win for him 😂

Any game could slip past it's scheduled release date. In this case I don't think he is implying that he has heard info that might mean it could slip.

Seems like a reasonable thing to say. As of now, as far as he knows it's not delayed. We've been hearing this alot recently. But if something does happen, which obviously can since, you know, we live in the world, anything could happen.
