Yeah the all use manual; it's inherently faster for many reasons. Get rid of the line and learn the track going 60% to get a sense then slowly build up where you know and thus feel compy on the track so you can begin to push. Explore it first. To bad about the audio. Was this an AI race? I'm racing know but I'll take a look. It's a long ass track with huge braking points.

it's just a quick timed AI race. the normal races have practice runs so i can get familiar with the track and car. still i just like having the braking line on :) manual is difficult for me though in games.

tried GT7 on PS5 but didn't like it

i'd like a wheel and pedal but you know me....i'd need a wheel, pedal, gearstick, wide screen monitor (or at least 3 16:9 monitors) with good speakers. shit i'd need a chair with realistic haptics and an actual car body around me with fully functional windows and AC.

honestly i don't get all the hate for the game. i guess the most annoying thing (doesn't bother me) is that you level cars up by driving them. that allows you to unlock upgrades and shit. you can't just get a car and kit it out. need to spend some time lovin' it before you make those moves.

It's no hate. Just preference I suppose.
I gladly played PGR on DC then Xbox and the first 3 forza's GT7 is not comparable to It's previous (sans Sport) outings.

The Looks, Feels, Vibe. Circuit based

No handholding/Assistance.

people should just play what they want and not give a fuck what others play. i like forza. GT7 is a good game but it's not for me. i can't tell you why.

forza can let you turn off handholding/assistances. i alway enable brake lines and maybe turn down the AI or adjust my grid place so i have a chance because i suck lol

My setup was like $500 all in I think. It's basic but it's such an improvement over controller. It's worth it imo just for the better turning and braking.
