Devs seem to be actively working on fixing the issues of the PC version. Already deployed a hotfix.

Have you tried disabling motion blur, fogs and post processing? Some seem to be reporting it looks much clearer that way.

I'm stuck with a lot of work today, can't try it. :lollipop_pensive:
 
Went digital. Amazon said May 12th for PS5, but I could get it today on Series X.

+1 for PS Plus discounts, got it for $45ish.

Yes I have tried many combinations, there is nothing so far that can kill this sharpen effect.

The world is *instantly* intriguing, mysterious and beautiful. A few things you want to immediately do on PS5 Pro, thank me later:

1. Performance Mode (obviously)
2. Turn off motion blur, film grain, vignette and chromatic aberration

I can already tell this is going to be special, soundtrack already 🔥, battle system that brings to mind a mix of FFX with Persona infused with a godly amount of visual flair.

The game just slamdunked a massive twist that completely changes the dynamics of the game plot. Holy fuck what the fuck just happened
 
Still in prologue, Steam Deck locked to 30, looks like a hot poo however the atmosphere, the concept is second to none. I don't remember last time being this moved.
Sadness, happiness, futility, all on display.

Performance or Quality on base PS5? Watched the video below on my laptop, don't see significant differences between the 2 modes so I'll probably go with Performance.

 
Downloaded this on series x and it looks like shit, especially performance mode. Got a ps5 pro but don't want to buy it when can try it on gamepass. Going to try it on PC hopefully it looks better, the hair on the series x was really distracting and just looked ruff overall.
 
man, just finished the prologue, it looks promising

i may be to high right now but Gustave looks a lot more like Robert Pattinson than Charlie Cox to me.

omg I'm in love :3 hopefully the devs didn't set her age to something silly.

Only watched the opening cutscene so far, know zero about this game apart from the one trailer at the xbox showcase. Actually pretty excited for this because of the whole visual direction, in fact one of the games I'm most curious about this year, and the brief opening certainly reinforced this. Need to mess with the settings a bit, only getting 45fps at horrible frametimes so far, but that's on me (and UE5), and less about this specific game.

I think I'll try it again with the french dub once I got the performance where I want it

honestly not much of a looker on pc either, even at epic settings. there is a weird over sharpening kind of effect.
but i cant compare to console, probably better than that

But yeah the usual retards won't wait a minute before screeching about the sex appeal of a fictional character, it's sad indeed.
 
The game is only missing an FOV slider and cutscenes not locked to 30fps

But since they're only 30 developers, I will give them a pass.

Yeah, and Gustav is her adoptive/godbrother I believe? Still, outside of the usual idiots trying to… Act that way about a 16 year old (not saying anyone here), Maelle seems like an interesting character, narratively. Hell, all of them do.

So glad we can turn off chromatic aberration (on the PC version at least). God that effect looks like ass. I can't believe that's still a thing in 2025, seems like almost everyone hated it since it first became common in the PS4/X1 days

30fps...
Cant even hit 60 on the medium preset lol.

Was hitting 90 on EPIC + DLSS on DLAA. Now I switched to High with DLSS on quality

Still looks the same and the game jumped to 120fps+
